Not at all.

Maybe more confident in talking about it but thats obvious.

It changes those who think sex is just something you have as a personal score, but for those who experience it for love, than no it doesn't.

Honestly if you find the right person to give it away to that you trust and love then when you two do do the act it will be much more meaningful as opposed to just doing it with some "friend" or random hookup just to get it done. I really hate when people change the wrong way and/or for the wrong reasons.

I have known many people I cared for or known for a very long ammount of time, and most of them are people I no longer know because they have all moved on for all the wrong reasons. Especially my own family. It is really hard to deal with it when it comes to family. That is pretty much the reason why I refuse to change the way I am. I wont let nothing change me. I made that vow a long time ago and I still follow it to this day.

But I think that the change was due to me being young and impressionable and putting sex on a pedestal, once I started to realise that there was both more and less to it, I began to treat it with more reverence.

There are so many people who have had those exact thoughts or are having those exact thoughts but in all actuality you can't do anything about it honestly. If the guy's going to leave you, the guy's going to leave you. He's not a real man if he does though. You just need to, when you get in a relationship, get to know him, wait months and months into the relationship and see if he truly is sincere, and that's when you two can start to do things more seriously. Your chances of getting hurt are slimmer that way. And hey, even if you two break up later on, you may not even regret losing it to this guy in the first place! I don't regret losing mine to my ex when I was 16, and he and I ended on bad terms until we started coming around again down the road.
