how is this supposed to be any different from the half dozen other times Thanos has taken down Surfer and multiple herald types?

dunno how much of a challenge Forgotten One poses. he's an idiot as far as I'm aware, and he became Thanos' slave/herald so ...

I'm giving this to Thanos 8/10, until either Surfer grows up or someone presents a good argument for the team that doesn't involve Surfer suddenly realising he is staggeringly powerful and shouldn't be getting pimp-slapped by Thanos... well, at least not that easily, nor that frequently.
