Doom gets pun on his *** with the Plasma Caster just like Silver Surfer did to him in the movie. TX is more durable although Doom is no slouch in that department. The TX just has liquid-metal skin over a hardened, fully armoured titanium/tungsten combat chasis. She has way more weapons to resort to also.
