Looks like it may be The Blair Witch Project for a new generation; the torture-porn generation.

Personally, looks like it could be very interesting. The trailer intrigues.

General G
oooh, looks kinda brutal, think of the people's reactions going through those tapes eh? I will probably check it out.

Impediment
Looks rather interesting.

General G
I will definately be checking this out. I like this part:

"I found this film to be thoroughly Horrific. There are times when viewing this film where you are compelled to avert your eyes. I mean, Guttural, sections where you make a decision of vision morality"

Darth Vicious
Is this movie based on true events?

General G
No, it is actually based on a number of different killers, this is from the imdb and was an interview with the director asking if this movie was based on actual events:
"It's actually a combination of a number of them, but there's one -- Edmund Kemper. He was a really, really scary guy and we took a lot of pieces from him and we took some from the Green River Killer. There was a guy in Chicago we took pieces from. There was a duo in Michigan who worked together and filmed everything they did, and we took some stuff from them. Some from Ted Bundy too. So we sort of combined a lot of different real stories. Remember that couple that kidnapped a 19-year old girl and kept her as a slave for six years? We took pieces of that as well."

So I saw this movie. Was very impressed with it. I dunno why they aren't releasing it, it's very creepy and disturbing but not in the way most would probably expect. There is very little gore and mostly sticks with atmosphere and tone and psychological aspects to generate the shock and disgust. Some bad acting was present, but it's not a huge deal.

Definitely check this out if/when it comes out.

I remember first seeing the trailer for this movie two Winters ago. Hope this doesn't turn into another Trick r Treat.

allofyousuckkk
how can i see this?

lil bitchiness
BackFire suggested this one to me, and I saw it, and I actually liked it. There is something so sinister about the whole thing, and I found it realistic at many places.

Some acting is bad, but if you look pass it, the movie is good.

Mairuzu
I'll see it just to see the ted bundy copy

That's good, because I hate torture porn movies. They do absolutely nothing for me. I go more for the atmospheric horror movies.

As We Collapse
I hate when movies play it off like its actual true events like thats exactly what happened when its only based on similar events and people are stupid enough to believe it. (ie: Texas Chainsaw remake with the "police footage"wink
