The eye has been used as an aesthetic symbol by humans for thousands of years. The Ancient Egyptians are a famous example. You might as well try to argue that every logo that's blue is a sign of something.

If you're going to make these claims, at least try and back them up with some kind of evidence, preferably not an article someone else has written, using the same guess work you are.
