Vulcan could have just enough will to fight and still possibly mantain the same amount of control over the energy. So will could just be an added bonus for him where as it's an necessity for Hal.

Hal can will the ring but I would think Vulcan could just control the power or strip it of all.

Not to mention any other energy source Vulcan could find to use around.

Vulcan takes it unless he's stupid with his abilities.

which Vulcan will most likly being since hal is top tier and vulcan doesn't do well against top teir characters. (like glads the fight would end up like the one where he fought glad trying to manipulate Hal energy and becoming frusterated when hal takes him out)

This isnt a bad showing for vulcan, if anything it is a good showing for havok. Havok had a sundipp just like superman, there was no telling where his strength/power was at. We cant also assume how much power that havok was dishing out when he was hitting vulcan with the blasts since vulcan couldnt counter the attack but countered every other energy based attack that came at him.

We have yet to see the abilities of havok power IF marvel let him keep it. If anything, he could be the most powerful mutant right now since vulcan was stated as being the most powerful mutant and just got thrashed by havok.

Hal manipulated energies of quite a bit of GL'ers... Vulcan apparently couldn't manipulate a 'sundipped' Havok's energies.

wow I never imagined that havok could be so tuff. I don't think hall could muster that kind of energy but I still think hall would win for the reasons I stated before. i'm really hoping people don't use this showing to say that every dc characters is >>>>> vulcan that's just stupid, but i am glad that havok was the one to take down vulcan prime i mean vulcan it would be like robin taking down super boy prime you know the one most effected by what the other character did.

vulcan COULD win. he trashed havok several times. havok was dropped into a SUN. ie -- seriously amped. he was also pretty cocky AND got cheap-shotted at the start. prior to that he prety much single-handedly defeated the eldest who was at one time trashing havok, glads AND vulcan . . .

still, given experience and showings, i'd go with hal. vulcan's powerset DOES allow him a chance to win this though.

Hal takes this..

Energy output, manipulation hals beat Vulcan by a big margin..
