You draft 3 regular characters, one of these 3 you can fuse with a partner's character, who is also a regular character for one match. This is optional. 3 characters are optional amalgams. you can fuse 2 characters, for an amalgam. so you can draft up to 9 characters. But 6 would be represented. In a match your only allowed to use two of your preamalgated characters.

Prep varies every match, to avoid prep whores from abusing it.

Every match your paired up with a random user, giving every user a sense of what everyone is thinking, since you're practically working with everyone at last once, to take down everyone else. It'll be a 6 on 6. 3 of your characters will be used. but going back to the one match amalgam, it could be a 5 on 6. It'll be olympic pooling. meaning 2 pools, and from there into the medal rounds, and into the finals where only 2 people will face, depending on their record. Any Questions?

The actual amalgam itself can exceed the cap, so long the characters that are derived from it are within the cap. Therefore leaving a wide array of variety. However, No feats can be used if they succeed a general ability that the character is capable of...

at least 4 for each pool. Pool A and B. It's a typical olympic formatting.

I know I'm new but hopefully when it starts I am a little better known.

The fact that the tournament might have 3 tournaments running at the same time. Which I personally think is far too many.

Ending of Delphs, Starting of this one....seems like one tournament to me. Unless you are planning on running one as well?

This tournament will not begin for a few weeks. My Slugfest tournament has just been announced (though has been in the works and has had prior approval).

I had my tourney planned since the second week of illa's, and Smurph, Blair, and PR have been planning since then. I told PR about it in November as well, who approved it then and there and also signed up,told Bada, but he's got a short attention span. I just made the thread so I can announce it. I'm sorry if it interfered with your plans, smilefist

Hissyfit? I think you are capable of discussing matters without child-like name calling.

I was simply pointing out to people who aren't sure, that your tournament wasn't set to start for a few weeks, while mine is set to begin immediately. I didn't want people to be confused or worried about two tournaments running at the same time since they can take part in mine first and finish up in my tournament, then join yours at a later date when your tournament starts.

I have done my best to be courteous and accommodating to you since I didn't want to divide the forums attention between multiple tournaments. I have delayed my tournament repeatedly and contacted you and Badabing to reach a comparable solution. However, this was done as a courtesy to you and the moderators.

If you seriously want to point out who announced their own tournament first, then I should point out that I announced 4 years ago that my slugfest would be an annual event taking place every year at the same time. This is not the first time two tournaments have run side-by-side and I doubt it will be the last. Everyone is free to run their own tournament, and with that I sincerely hope that our two tournaments will be able to co-exist without interference.

For everybody else, Delph's tourny is ending soon and isn't even a KMC event. Capt Spaulding and Newjak will be starting their draft at the end of February. Evangel94 always runs an organized and well thought tourny. I don't see any problems here.
