Thought this would make for a very interesting match-up...
What if Sue went up against The Vision?
Fight takes place on neutral ground in Central Park and both are determined to put down the other...

I don't know if it's ever been established in the comics or not, but it comes down to this- can Sue's force fields stop or affect Vision in his intangible state? If not, Vision obviously wins easily, in about 2 seconds.

my bet is on vision

Couldn't Sue put an invisible forcefield inside Vision and expand it...ripping Vision into. I know Vision could turn intangible, but could he do it fast enough. Would he even know there was a force field inside him? Could Vision "see" Sue if she turned invisible and tried to evade him?

Invisible Woman is one of those 'tweener's as a character... in between being extremely formidable, and being not very much at all- it all depends on who she is going up against. I think she falls fast to the Vision. I see your point about the force-field, but I think Viz (being robotic) would sense the field immediately, and react in time.

Vison goes in his phase state if she decides to put a field inside him
Darth Martin
but can he produce his eye beams in his intangible state?

He can, and has. And he's actually beaten the F4 in the past.
Though, I'm not sure if he can win against current Sue. Then again, she'd have to find him first.

Vision can be seen in his intangible state (He's not invisible but only intangible). So Sue can see him. But that's not the problem.
The problem is whether Vision can see Sue and can Sue affect Vision in his intangible state.
It is reasonable to say that neither of the above can happen. So Sue either loses because Vision eventually finds her or it is a stalemate because he doesn't. This is to say that Sue can't affect an intangible Vision and Vision can't affect Sue if he can't find her (or unless Sue's shield can block out an intangible Vision in which I doubt).
