Don't under estimate him.

Guy has taken beatings from Lobo without the ring. With it he has gone round after round with him.

He has took on Despero himself as well.

He's not to be underestimated.

That was latter retconned to guy being half alien and him having insane durability (also the reason he survived doomsday)

I forget but didn't he get alien half when he got the Warrior powers? Haven't read it in a while.

Doesn't change the fact that he can take a beating.
