Godzilla(Final Wars) and Cloverfield take on 20 Tripods from War of the Worlds. The Tripods are roughly the same size as these monsters...yet the Tripods have protective shields. Can the monsters get past their shields and defeat them? Will the Alien disintegrator beams work on the monsters?

How will this fight go?

The Tripods 'Heat Rays' (they were named as such in the book and dammit' do I ever love the book) could possibly vaporise Cloverfield and his lice-like offspring. I seriously doubt however, that the heat rays could target all of the lice before they began mobbing the Tripods force-fields and generally becoming a nuisance.

Godzilla on the other hand.....

Let me put it like this. The Japanese were only able to neutralize a tripod through their technological breakthroughs used against Godzilla, and as we can all remember said breakthroughs usually end up being useless.

A single sweeping blast of Godzilla's Atomic Ray should destroy the shields (if not annihilating their producers) allowing Cloverfield to go for the kill.

Kutulu
Godzilla soloes.

SpiderGauntlet
The 18-8-08 soloes, he survived the MoAB nearly unscatched.

It's also huge and only a baby big grin.

I have yet to see Cloverfield and Eagerly wait for my paycheck.

I'm unsure whether to go see it on my own or with a friend.

I doubt it, aside from laughing at random wanton destruction of course.

Being afflicted by any form of Motion-sickness isn't fun, it makes moving around difficult and tiresome.

Yeah, when I was young I was curled up in the car.

Now I just sleep it off.

By the way Cloverfield IS a really good movie, check it out soon.

Like tomorrow or Wednesday cause that's movie night smokin'.

Nah, probably Mid-Saturday.

Kutulu
When I went to go see Cloverfield, they left the lights partially on throughout the whole movie (probably for the motion-sensitive viewers).
