Galan007
Who are some massive/huge/really big comic characters you've seen over the years?

A few that come to mind for me are:

Topographical Man
Promethean Giants
Millenium Giants

Who else can you think of?

No abstracts please.

WrathfulDwarf
Giganta and Apache Chief....

...oh! and Uncle Sam with Miss America.

stick out tongue

Galan007
Giganta lol.

The Infinites would be much bigger than a Promethean Giant. Eternity itself was wrestling with just the hand of an Infinite.

Infinites can drag galaxies with just their fingers. I consider them abstracts...so, I wouldn't count them

If we included abstracts or gods....I'd say the GEB. His fingernail alone was so massive...that it left everyone on panel...in awe.

Kronos is spread out over a large distance, but there isn't much to him. He keeps thinning out as he expands. Like a spirit by now.

Now, here is what you guys are looking for...

The daddy of Warlock (of the New Mutants), the Magus.

The Magus

He was able to just stretch himself out and be lightyears in size.
Big enough to tear a star in half.

And, who can forget

MadGod Sector 3600?

that's thanos' astral form, courting death at the beginning of a deadpool comic.

also, he pales in comparison to the majority of these characters, but the armageddon man from x-force grew geometrically larger when his powers were not being kept in line. he was several times the height of power lines, and walking through a power plant like it was grass, when they took him down. his powers could have easily continued to expand, giving him an unknown upper height limit.

That's the true stature of the new gods, without the boom tube. Which lets you know the scale on which the promethean giants are at.

Mr. Slippyfist
Umm... you guys do realize that Orion is a hell of a lot closer to the 'reader' in that scan than Earth is... don't you?

Orion, and the other NG's, are right next to the Moon -- which is subsequently a great deal more towards the reader.

It has to do with that whole, 'size perspective' thing in art. ermmnone

Only "the Infinites" imo,
Topo-Man is cosmic colossus,
but as we know, one hand of an Infinite was nearly the size of a Galaxy:

(average size for a galaxy roughly 100,000 light-years across)

Some cool pics depicting the Walkers and the Infinites!

The Walkers (are planet size beings) - they serve "the Infinites"

Together, all these Walkers merged with their respective cylinders,
they then combined to make one huge handle,
a handle to grab entire Galaxies and drag them away physically:

....................................................................................

Infinites linked together a 4 Billion Light Year Long Wall of Galaxies:

http://img91.imageshack.us/img91/5637/inf2bv2.th.jpg

*note* - The "Infinite's hands in comparison with the wall,
actual Galaxies being depicted,
and purposely so next to the Infinite's hand, to give us proper perspective,
allowing us to guess-estimate the Infinite's size a bit more accurately I'm guessing.

....................................................................................

The hand of an infinite wrestles with Eternity,

http://img204.imageshack.us/img204/8045/11pp9.th.jpg

which we established is nearly as big as Galaxies,
Eternity was then bamf'd into another dimension.

they were a plot device in x-man. the multiverse was re-envisioned as "the spiral," a ranking of every dimension based solely on the status of their earth. 616 was near the middle, with earth's further down the spiral being worse for wear and the worlds further up the spiral being closer to "perfection." the shining city was at the top of the spiral, and was "perfect." everything below the shining city was considered by its residents to be flawed and capable of contaminating the city.

a couple people left, only to come back and get fought for being tainted. qabiri was a self-righteous prick who wanted to take apart the spiral for its imperfections (if i recall correctly,) but nate grey was able to show him how limited his scope was and stop him from doing so. these creatures are similar in scope, it might seem, to 'those who sit above in shadow' or whatever, from thor: disassembled.

Lulz at the Battletide earlier on this page. That's some really obscure Death's Head sh*t. I smiled when I saw it.

'course ya did Mungi. I didn't say it was unheard of...just obscure, which it is. Early 90's Marvel UK comics aren't exactly the rage here on KMC. You're the only person who's ever been able to keep me honest with Minion since you've read most of his stuff. Which is why I'm happy you're judging the tourney (you did accept, yes?). Minion and I are going to be having loads of fun.

btw why do you "symbol" your swear words, as something inside me makes me feel like your insecure or the fact that you are trying to be polite and waste time on a site full of men (odd woman) between the age of 10 - 30 who really dont care as we are not parents teaching little children how to behave, sorry if you disagree but i find that its your lame little way of saying i'm better than you and we know what your going to say anyway (if its rules ok)

Insecure? Polite? Waste of time? Lulz.

Jump to conclusions much?

KMC bleeps out most swear words entirely, so if you want others to know which one you're using, you have to get creative with spelling. I'm not in the habit of swearing, but when I do the easiest way to do so is by making the main vowel an asterisk. I'm certainly not trying to make some sort of derogatory statement toward the forum, and I'm honestly mystified as to how it could be interpreted that way in the first place.

A further lulz at the fact that he's one of KMC's youngest members, but rants about how we're all "Men between 10-30".

14-30, technically. KMC has rules against anyone younger than that.

13 year olds can't join? mmm

Damn, now I gotta wait TWO years til I'm old enough

DigiMark007
I forget the exact age. But yeah, I think that's the cutoff....and if not, it's within a year in either direction.

And I'll get on your ban right away...you'll be allowed back when you're old enough.

We don't always catch it. But at the time, he should have been banned.

srug We'll forgive you if you make up for your mistake right now.

Ban him and send him a bunch of symbol-filled swear words in a PM.

Do it.
