<<Alright, everything's a go. Feel free to post your intros as necessary.>>

James leaned back in the seat of the car. It had been ages since he'd been to Cedarbrook, though this wasn't exactly the same premise. Last time, it had been a trip with his girlfriend, and they were just passing through. This time...

He looked forward to putting an end to this case, which he had already ruled to be a transportation problem or something of the sort. Hardly called for CIA intervention, but he supposed it was part of the job.

He looked out the window, the back seat starting to feel rather uncomfortable to him, as he was prone to motion sickness on these curvy backroads. It was, perhaps, the only thing he hated about the area. The desert was beautiful, and on any non-work-related business, he'd probably have pulled over and camped for a few nights, just to enjoy the raw beauty of the area.

Looking back into the car, to his right was his assigned partner for the case. He'd never really met her before, though he'd seen her around the office. Their boss had said it would be an opportunity for him to hone his skills, working with a more experienced officer on such a case, though he would ratehr have taken it on his own, considering the occasion being as minor as it was.

James pulled the files for the case out and began looking them over, trying to get his bearings on the place.

"So... kids go missing right around teh time of a murder spree and now we get called in to check it out... Are we sure that it isn't just some elaborate high school hoax or bus issues?" He was talking to himself more than anything, though he knew it would probably draw unwanted attention to him, now that he thought it through. He shook his head, wishing the local trooper driving them into town would turn on the radio, but unable to form the words.

The weight of his gun against his belt had grown welcome surprisingly quickly. He had tried to tell Eirika that he didn't need a new gun, though she'd bought him a Desert Eagle for his birthday anyway, claiming it would be more useful than the old Jericho 941 he had grown up shooting. He wasn't sure how so, but he decided to bring it along on something minor to get used to the feel. The empty desert landscape flew past all around them, and he finally closed the folders containing their briefings. He was quite ready for an arrival, though it was now indeterminate as to whether they'd ever get there. It felt to him as thoguh they'd been in the car for hours. He wished someone would say something to break the silence, though at this point, it felt as though that, too, was an empty dream.

He turned to his partner, now unable to bear the silence any longer and looking for some form of conversation until they got into town.

"So, how long you been working for the CIA?"

Donny limped quickly through the forest on one crutch. The other had broken when he had fallen about three hundred yards ago. Blood covered his right arm also from the fall. He was panting heavily and sweat was poring out of his glands. Donny stopped at a nearby tree and closed his eyes. He started to cry as he slid down the tree. "Oh my god. What happened to us?" He kept repeating to himself.

His eyes opened and his body shivered. Hours had passed and his arm stopped bleeding. He crawled towards his crutch, picked it up, and used it to lift himself up. Donny slowly made his way another hundred yards when he noticed a strange smell. He turned his head to the left and screamed. A corpse was sitting up against the tree. It had a meat cleaver down his skull all the way towards the nostrils.

Frank was inside his little cabin he had built in the woods. He knew the town wasn't safe anymore, even for him. Frank got up from his chair, and went into his toolshed. He got his chainsaw out and went on his daily "hunting session." He also brought along his skinning knife, incase he caught anything. He entered the woods.

darkxbox
carl walked through the woods, content from his last meal of 2 hares and a dear. he was on his way back to his territory, witch the human frank had, unfortunately for carl, built his cabin on. now carl had to be careful when he was walking around.

Furion
Frank was walking through the trees thinking. Perhaps he should make a run back to town and get a hunting rifle. Yeah, it would be risky, but it would be worth it. After all, the chainsaw was loud. Frank pulled out his map. he turned towards the direction of the town and started to walk.

android217
Donny gripped the handle of the butcher knife. He tugged on until it finally came out with a blood curtling pop. His eyes watered and he puked onto the corpse. Donny dropped the butcher knife and fell to the ground. He couldn't stop puking. After a minute of laying on the ground, Donny pushed himself up and grabbed the butcher knife again. "I need to find the town," He whispered to himself as he slid the butcher knife into his pants.

Furion
Frank made his way to the clearing. It looked no differnet since when he last saw it. He made his way through the streets, his hands on his chainsaw. There were beings in this town. He passed his old buture shop. He saw the gun store. He made his way there.

Joshua was dirty, scared, hurt and alone. It had been weeks since he last saw his family and he knew that somehow they we're looking for him. It had also been a while since he last saw his friends. He had got separated from them after the last attack they suffered. He was desperately hoping that he came across at least one of them but was quickly losing faith every time he had to run from whatever it was that was hunting him.

In just the few weeks that he had been lost in the woods, he had came close to death twice. The first time, Josh was running away from some creatures that attacked him, his classmates and their two professors, when they were on a field trip to this desolate town called Ceadergrove. They were running through the woods and he almost ran over a steep embankment.

The second time was right after he got separated from the group. He was in the place where the field trip took place and was hoping that everybody would come back here. After a few hours of waiting, the power had went out. Josh wasn't an idiot, so he didn't go out to explore. instead, he tried to find something to protect himself with. As he was walking through the back room of the place he start off point, (Don't know what to call it. Where did we get dropped off at at the beginning of the field trip?) he saw a large shadow fly pass the window.

He knew he had to act fast. He couldn't find anything but some cleaning supplies in a janitors closet and that's when the monster mad it's move. It swatted Joshua us against the wall and scratched him up pretty bad. Joshua grabbed some kind of liquid and splashed it in the thing's face. As it screeched, Joshua tried to get away but it grabbed his leg with it's spiky fingers. Josh felt the blood pump from his wound but couldn't feel the pain thanks to the adrenaline in his system.

He fought as hard as he could, but the monster was just to strong. He noticed that it still couldn't see based on it's wild movements so Josh grabbed a broom and shoved it in the monsters mouth. When the thing pulled it out of it's mouth, Joshua hopped out of there. It was a miracle that the monster couldn't follow him because of it's damaged eyesight. Now he was looking for a familiar face, praying that it wasn't 'Dr. Nasty'.

Clarissa opened her eyes, she didnt know where she was but she knew that she was very cold! She put her shaking hand into her pocket and found her lighter. With her shaking hands she manged to get the lighter to work. She curved her one hand over he flame to block out any wind or draft. She knew she was in a room, she could see walls all around her. As she tried to get up but she felt a sharp pain in her leg so she leaned against the wall for support. She wanted to get a better feel of her surroundings to work out what was in the room so she tried her lighter again.

As Clarissa searched around the dark room she moved her hand slightly on the ground and she couls feel something wet on her hand. She put the lighter to her hand and to her horror she noticed that it was blood. She moved the lighter in the direction that her hand was and saw a pair of eyes staring at her. As she tried to take a closer look her body wasnt prepared for what she saw. There infront of her was a body of a young man....Well half a body.

Clarissa fell back against the wall and let out a huge scream.

Donny limped towards a nearby tree to catch his breath. Shear exhaustion had completely covered him. He stuck his arm out to hold himself up against the tree. After a moment he started to walk away from the tree. Suddenly Donny was tackled to the ground. The attacker relentlessly punched his back. The man searched Donny's pockets and found the butcher knife. He flipped Donny over and raised the knife up into the air.

Donny raised his arms up to block the knife but the man knocked his hands away and stabbed one into the ground. He screamed out in pain but knew no one could hear him. Donny reached for his crutch, with his other arm, and hit the man as hard as he could. Their was a loud snap and the man fell over with his head to the side. Blood pored out of Donny's hand as he pulled the knife out. He looked at the unconscious killer and stuck it into his throat. When he saw the man awake with his throat sliced, he started to run around and panicked. After a moment he fell to the ground completely silent. Donny crunched over and puked again. A scream rang through the forest.

Frank tried the door. It was locked.......So he chainsawed it. The Door fell down. He went into the shop. Most of the stuff was already gone. The stuff that was left was: A pistol, a shotgun, 2 scopes, a hunting rifle, and some ammo lying around. Frank picked up the rifle as well as a scope and some ammo. Frank then procceded to leave the store.

Melrose was starring out of the window, To anyone who happened to look at her it would appear that she was lost in a trance but Melrose was actually working. This case troubled her to no end. A class on a field trip had gone missing and the town wanted answers and it was up to her to find these answers.

She had worked with a Criminal Profilist on many occasions before, and was always intrigued of their work that she herself had been studying the human mind in her spare time. And even though she wasn't licensed to give out a profile on a killer, her experience and her knowledge gave her a rough idea.

She was snapped out of her thoughts by a voice. She turned around to face her new partner James and said. 'A few years now.How about your self?'

She really didn't care for much conversation especially with him, but for some unknown reason they were thrown together and she knew that if she spoke now and then it might back the time they spent together go a bit faster. The thing was that Melrose just wanted this case to be over with. It was starting to give her nightmares.

He shook his head, catching a bit of uneasiness in her voice. "About a year and a half. Used to be on SWAT with the LVPD, but I needed the higher paycheck to make ends meet..." He ended it there, sensing that his "partner" was not one for casual chatter. Wasted effort, that. He had only just realized how out of place his Irish accent really was, and it troubled him to no end that he now had to spend hours on a case he had long since called a transportation error with someone who seemed to be off in her own world...

As the car screeched to a halt, he looked out at the scenery around them. It looked like a ghost town, perhaps, from an old Western or Scooby-Doo reruns. He caught his partner just outside the vehicle and made himself painstakingly clear. "Let's get this straight: I don't like partners, you don't like me. Let's find them and get out of here ASAP, savvy?"

Passione
Melrose just looked James up and down. 'Savvy? Do I look like a bloody pirate! Listen here, I am not here to entertain you or to keep you in deep conversations, so finding these kids and whatever bloody psycho is out there suits me fine.' She turned to look at the little run down motel that was infront of her and moan.

'I am going to my room, I need to get out of these garments' She said looking down at her drab black pencil skirt and black heels. 'And I need a coffee!' With that she took her bag from the car and walked into the motel squishing whatever bug was under her feet on the way

Diablo Cerberus
James smirked, realizing why they'd teamed the two up: They were complete opposites, and would likely kill one another before making it back. He followed her up to the motel, half wondering if it would even have anyone running the place. The door slammed closed in his face as Melrose continued her little hissy fit, and he carelessly flung it back open, sitting in the lobby and cleaning his gun as he ran over what to do until local authority showed up. He hadn't been far off, the motel was understaffed, but not quite deserted. There were no people visiting, however, and so the two agents pretty much had run of the place. He suddenly had a moment of realization and reached for his phone, automatically hitting the speed dial for Eirika, though he was disconcerted to find that he had no signal here. The Department is here to kill me... First that psycho for a partner... and now I can't even call home... Damn, we'd better find those kids fast...

android217
Donny lifted himself up with his crutch again. He started to leave again but stopped to look at the knife. If he took it, anyone could trace him back to the killing of the man there. Also he needed protection for when he was in the town. Donny laid his crutch down to grab the knife with his good arm and grabbed the crutch again. Suddenly he had the feeling he was being watched by someone but he ignored the feeling.

"Alright," Donny coughed out. "I.. need to find out where that town." He started to walk through the forest again hoping the feeling of being stalked would go away.

Joshua was running through the trees thinking that something was following him when he heard a muffled voice. It sounded like the guy with the cructhes. They went to the same school but they had never really talked to each other. But as of right now, finding anyone would be better than nothing.

He raced towards the voice but thought that he saw something else running through the trees as well. He slowed down to just a hobble. His leg had stopped bleeding a while ago but it still hurt like hell. He had to use one of his shirts as a bandage but it was filled with blood now. He didn't know what to do in situations like these because he had never been in one before. He stayed a safe distance away, making sure that he didn't make any kind of noise that caused whatever it was he was following to follow him.

Frank put a gun sling on the Rifle, so he could carry it and his chainsaw. He then went outside. He remembered when he left the town. They didn't believe him when he said they were there. Frank decided he needed to get some food, after all, that damn werewolf was always killing the animals. He walked to the general store that was also near the woods. The Door was wide open. He went in and looked around.

carl howled to frighten his pray, knowing that it would distract them temporarily. the hipnotic sound echoed throughout the woods.

Frank found nothing in the store. Disapointed, he left back to the woods. When he was walking, he heard the sound of the werewolf. For once, he decided to walk towards it, seeing what was going on.

android217
Donny looked back when he heard the howl. He stared into the forest for a moment and turned to run away. But with his one crutch he could only go so fast. Attempting to go faster than he could, Donny tripped again and fell into a ditch.

Furion
Frank ran faster now. He knew he was close, he could smell that beast.

Joshua was sure that the howl was to frighten him off. But he couldn't just leave when he heard someone else out here. He must have been closer than what he thought because he heard a loud noise like someone falling. He didn't want to risk calling out because it might backfire on him. He tried to walked in the direction of where the sound came from and wound up falling in the a ditch. When he opened his eyes he saw the guy with the cructh. "Thank God I found someone I know. Are you okay?"

Diablo Cerberus
James opened his eyes. Had that been a howl in the distance? Probably coyotes... He stood, walking over to the main desk and catching the eye of a manager of the place. How long waas I out?

"Excuse me, I'd like to get ahold of local police, have one of them meet me here, tell them the agents they requested have arrived, please. And try to be quick about it." He walked back to his chair, not even remembering why he hadn't taken a room for himself, as well. Suddenly he was wishing himself back home. The manager walked over to a phone, dialing a number James couldn't catch from where he was and speaking inaudibly into it. He assumed that the officer would be there soon, but if not, they'd have to take to the town on their own to hunt out the kids... Which bothered him. Ghost town or no, it was huge, and finding them could take days if they had no guide. He wondered if his partner had thought of that?

He shook it off. Seniority over him or not, she'd been a bit full of herself and the job, so had he really been out of line? What did it matter what she thought of anything, anyway? She seemed more worried about appearance, from what he'd seen, than about those kids or teachers. And while he'd been quick to dismiss it as bus issues, he still found himself hoping that it wasn't anything worse. Especially after all those rumors as of late...

Furion
Frank reached a clearing. He felt something was near. He revved up his chainsaw, and started to look around.

android217
"No! I've been through hell," Donny whispered. "There's something stalking me ." Suddenly he could hear the rev of a chainsaw. "Let's get out of here!" Donny pushed himself and gained his balance with the crutch.

Death is a wonderful thing... The beginning of an endless journey, to sands of white, to old family and friends, to places full of milk and honey. Death is bliss, Death is Paradise.

Yeah, right; and my name's Oprah.
Alex stirred, his eyes darting from wall to wall. The only thing that was in the room in front of him was a table, which held gruesome looking tools, covered in what looked to be coagulated blood. But one tool, a saw of sorts, was covered in fresh blood.

That's when the pain hit.

With a scream, Alex observed, stunned, that he was missing his pinky and ring finger on his left hand. Not only that, but he was hanging on some slab of wood, his hands nailed into it, outstretched... A cross.
With great effort, and immense pain, Alex slowly slid his palms out of the nails that held him in place, and dropped down to the floor, sobbing.

What the hell is happening? Where is everyone? Why am I here?

Alex quickly shoved the coming screams down his throat, and got up to look around. The only light source was a dim, flickering light bulb hanging overhead, but with it Alex made out the outline of a door, and slowly crept over to it. There were no windows, so Alex pressed his ear lightly to the wood, listening for any signs of human-or otherwise dangerous-presence. With a firm nod to reassure himself, he slid the lock open-... Wait.
The door was locked from the inside.
That meant...
The assailant was still here.
With a piercing scream, Alex dove for the table, grabbing the saw that was used to cut off his fingers, and turned over. At the same time, a huge, bulking figure tackled him, and gave a gargled roar, and then a loud shriek. He'd landed square on the saw, and it pierced his neck. Alex groaned as the man's blood spewed from the wound, and drenched Alex in a blanket of red liquid. With a great shove, and extreme throbbing from his left hand, Alex heaved the man off of him, and grabbed the only other weapon on the table, a machete. Without hesitating, he pulled open the door, and ran, his hair like a wild, multicolored blur.

For what seemed like multiple eternities piled together, Alex ran, until something caught his foot and he fell over. A blanket of excruciating pain wrapped itself around his leg, and Alex looked down to find his ankle enveloped in a bear trap. Sobbing, he pulled himself up, put his left leg on one unhinger, and pressed down on the other with his right hand, until he could pull his leg free. As soon as it was, the trap snapped shut again. Alex sat there for a moment, watching his leg bleed, and finally took off his shirt, tearing a strip off and tying it just above his knee, He prayed that would slow the bleeding, seeing as how his adrenaline had been used up, but it had also practically stopped the bleeding of his fingers.
With that, Alex pushed himself up and limped, his face still drenched in blood, on until he heard a howl.
It was close.
Coyote or not, it'd smell the blood, so Alex turned the opposite direction, limping on. For a couple minutes, Alex limped, until he heard the sound of rushing water. Ecstatic, he found the source, a wide stream, shallow enough for him to cross. This would throw off his sent for any pursuing animal, and he slowly waded through, reaching the other side within the minute At that moment, an idea struck him. He found the nearest tree, and jumped up to hang on the first branch, groaning as he pulled himself up, and then he started to climb. It wasn't a fairly tall tree, but tall enough to keep away from any animals... Except for bears. They didn't have bears here, right? Alex found himself a comfortable notch to sit in, and under the cover of the branches, he'd wait for nightfall before he decided to do anything.
From far away, all Alex looked like was a neon green spot in a tree.

another howl resonated through the woods, then a second, then a third. all of a sudden, 20 wolves, all from different packs, lurked on the very edges of the clearing. they snarled viciously, coming from the sound of carls howl. they left a single path, the one to franks cabin, open, attempting to make him flee. carl headed the pack, but stayed back in the darkness. "And you have no right to be taking all the game from here." "You know you are no match for me if IT happens. I suggest you let me take one, or things are going to get messy."

Frank started swinging with the chainsaw. Claws and fangs were tough, but a chainsaw cut through them like a hotknife through butter. A wolf ran up to him and he kicked it in the nose, probably breaking it. Swinging the Chainsaw wildly, Frank didn't have long before IT took over him.

Alex woke with a start.

Apparently, he'd fallen asleep in the tree, and now the sun was sinking over the horizon. Orange and pink filled the sky, as Alex began to climb down the dead tree.

On the ground, Alex felt vibrations, heard snarls, and what sounded like a chainsaw roaring in the distance. In that instance, he took off running in the opposite direction, his leg still giving him pain anytime he put pressure on it.

After running for what seemed like ages, and after the sounds had died out in the distance, Alex had come across a cabin, rather large, in the middle of a clearing. With great effort, Alex forced the door open and crept inside. The cabin seemed normal, no foul smells, blood splatters, or anything. In fact, it was like a nice, cozy home. A recliner, TV set, and coffee table were taking up most of the space, so Alex skirted around into the kitched. Off-white colored cabinets, matching refridgerator, and a coffee pot were the main things. Suddenly, a groaning sound eminated from all around Alex, and he realized it was just his stomach. Starving, he threw open the fridge door, and inside were a variety of lunch meats, sodas, and in the center of it all was a rather large turkey, parts of it sliced off. Alex picked it up, and walked over to the counter, and started opening drawers for a knife, fork, or anything to cut it. One such drawer held a butcher knife, so Alex used that to cut off pieces of the meat at a time, and ate almost the entire thing.

How long have we been here? Where is everyone?
The thoughts raced over and over in his head, as he took a drink from a soda he'd gotten from the fridge. Wherever he was, he needed to get out. But how?

Finished with the turkey, Alex started roaming the entire house for anything useful. He tucked the butcher knife in his back pocket, and also found a compass in another kitchen drawer. Satisfied he'd found everything useful in the house, he turned his attention towards the TV. It was a simple, old school TV, with a bunny-eared antenna ontop of it. Deciding whether or not he'd watch it was easy, and Alex quickly turned it on. Static filled the room, and Alex maneuvered the antenna around until a semi-clear picture came up.

It was the news.

The static died down, and a woman's voice filled the room.
"Students....*Static*.... Still missing....*Static*.... Investigation under....*Static*.... FBI.... *Static.*"

"An investigation? Someone's looking for us?" Alex shook his head in bewilderment, and shut off the system as the static became more prominent then the woman's voice. Slowly, Alex filed out of the house and pulled out the compass, and headed North.
But, Alex forgot to put everything back the way it was. The turkey was on the counter, the half drank soda with it.
Idiot.

(Now Frank's gonna get pissed.)
Frank woke up with a groan. He recalled what happened before. He went back to the cabin and-wait....He had opened the door. The door was supposed to be locked. He went to the door, and tried to unlock it. It was all flimsy, and was loose. Somebody has been in his house. He went into the kitchen, only to get more angry. Somebody had eaten his food, and drinks, his turkey and the soda. He opened drawers. Utensils were missing. Frank chekced around the house. He had lost his spare compass as well. Frank then checked his fridge. All that was left in there was some soup, a block of cheese, and a little bit of sausage and his usual meat he had brought with him. Frank ate some cheese and drank some water. Frank grabbed his chainsaw and rifle, and left the cabin.

Frank looked at the ground. Footprints were leading North. Frank started to run in that direction. He would find the thief, and he would make him suffer.

James looked up as Melrose entered the lobby, flagging her down as he headed for the door. "Had the guy at the desk call the local authorities, they're supposed to be sending someone out to give us a rundown of the place. Figured it might prove more useful than a map, considering locals are gonna know places in town that aren't on maps. In any case, it may take as long as 24 hours for them to get here, so why not go ahead and look for the kids, right?" He opened a trunk he'd left out on the front stoop of the hotel as they'd gotten there, revealing mainly clothing articles, but also two more guns and some knives, which he promptly removed and placed on his person. "Never know in a place like this where you'll need some weaponry."

Passione
Melrose smiled, she liked the fact that unlike most agents who assumed one gun could do it all. He packed a few extra.

'James, how would you like to do this?' She asked her partner while handing him a bottle of water.

Kumori Okami
He took the water, placing it in a side pocket on his leg.

"I think we should head into the town, since the locals could be days sending us someone. Check out the most obvious places first, then start digging through some of the areas that would be less likely to produce results, assuming we haven't found them by that point."

He stood, kicking the lid closed on the trunk before clipping several sidepacks onto his belt and filling them with ammunition.

"That is, unless you've got a better COA to approach the situation with?"

For anyone unaware of standard military terminology, "COA" would be "Course of Action." I have faith that we all know that, but as soon as I don't post this, some idiot will ask me what COA means...

Passione
'Hmm' Melrose said looking at her partner. 'I do agree with you about the guide. Those woods are pretty thick. It would be stupid for us togo into an area we dont know.'

Kumori Okami
Nodding, James headed for the gate leading into the main part of the town. "Then I suppose we should get started. Sooner we find those kids, sooner we can get the paperwork finished and get this over with. Got enough weaponry for yourself, in case we should run into trouble?"

Passione
Melrose flashed james a smile. 'I am packed well enough! Now should we take the car or walk into town? And ait you going to change your clothes?' She asked her partner

He looked at his attire: an old black t-shirt, black cargo pants, and a light brown jacket. He admitted to himself that it was a little overdressed for desert areas, but saw no problem. "Nope. I should be alright." He pulled out his phone, turning on the GPS system to gather the distance into town. "As close as it is, I think walking should do fine. There's no point wasting the gas to get there, considering how high it'll be to refill the tank later." He shuddered to think how much Eirika must be spending on gas back home. He'd have to work on saving up for a more fuel-efficient car for her when he was able. He took a few steps, panicking slightly when his phone displayed "SIGNAL LOST" on the screen. Taking a step back, he saw it to be fine, which was more than confusing to him. "Must be a dead zone. We'll have to head back here for any communications."

Passione
'Look James, this good be an all night thing, do you have a 2way radio James?' She asked her partner

Kumori Okami
He shook his head. "Haven't had one for a while. My old one wasn't an up to date model, so they took it in to replace, and never got around to sending my new one. I asked about it, but they pretty much told me to buy it myself."

Frank ran after the person. He knew he was catching up. He revved up the chainsaw. They were close to the town now. Franka ran after the person, running as fast as his legs could take him. Thoughts ran through his head of what he was going to do.

Frank was close.
The chainsaw rev threw Alex out of his navigational state, and into survival mode.
Alex took off, sprinting full on, his leg throbbing with every stride, but his adrenaline soon took the pain away. But, Alex wasn't athletic, and he wouldn't be able to outrun the maniac for long.
He needed a place to hide, fast.
As if God himself were willing Alex to survive, up ahead there was a thicket of briars to the North-East, that stretched as far as Alex's eye could see. That would slow both Alex, and hopefully the maniac down, so Alex darted straight through them, and about twenty yards in the briars got thicker and thicker, until movement was practically impossible. Alex pushed on ahead, through the briars, until to the left he saw a clearing about thirty yards away. A few minutes later, he found he was on the edge of a road, which led to a town just in view. Ecstatic, Alex sprinted toward it, and when he got there, he took refuge in the upstairs of a general store that had the door wide open.
Alex slid under a bed, and then prayed with all of his might he wouldn't be found.

(feel free to kill off Donny... ima use my cop instead)

Donny started to run as fast as he could with his crutch. He wouldn't be able to get far before the crutch snapped in half from overuse. Donny fell to the ground hard and landed awkwardly on his arm. It snapped in several places and Donny screamed in pain.

Frank saw an area of briars. Frank started cutting through them with his chainsaw. The little runt was running through them probably. He cut through them with ease, but it still slowed him down. The briars grew more thick. He managed to see the kid run through them and into the town. He broke off through the last of them and ran after him. He saw the kid run into the store he went into before. He went in, and screamed as loud as he could, "I'M IN HERE YOU LITTLE THIEF! AND YOU BETTER HOPE GOD HAS A PLACE FOR YOU IN HEAVEN!"

With his last bit of strength, Donny knocked away Carl's arm. He quickly fell to the ground with blood poring everywhere. With his arm broken and his neck bleeding, he was sure to die. Donny started to crawl away with one arm before stopping. The pain was too overwhelming and he couldn't bear it. But soon it was over. Pain disappeared and Donny's breathing slowed. Before he could say another word, Donny was dead.

Joshua was alone. Again. Donny had just gotten killed right in front of him and there was nothing that he could do. He was not far from Donny when they tried to make an escape but the monster thing which now looked like a wolf came out of nowhere and snatched up the school football player, killing him in an instant.

Joshua was trying to be as quiet as possible. he was determined not to be found that beast and he wanted to live. How could there not be anyone else around? How deserted was this place that not even the FBI would come and investigate?

5 kids and 2 teachers who never returned from a school field trip should have had everyone in the school neighborhood looking for them. They should have been found a long time ago. This place wasn't that big and it was uber empty. Even if someone was just passing through, spotting just one person should have made them want to alert the police. Joshua pressed on in his mission to survive.

carl dragged donnys body back to his den. after setting it down for the other wolves. he started back to get the other human.

Frank started to search the place. He smashed down various things, knowing this would let the person hear it, hopefully scaring him out. He checked the entire area, so he started to go up stairs. Frank pulled out his rifle.
