He's the guardian of the Mindscape...a dimension that borders on the minds of humans as they sleep. He doesn't really have any influence of their dreams, whereas Freddy does.

Sleepwalker's gaze-warping powers vs. Freddy's dream-warping powers would make for an interesting match-up I think. Freddy is pretty much immortal I feel. Remember in NOES 4, it is hinted that Krueger is the immoral guardian to the negative gate of dreams, the realm of nightmares...and tells Alice later that he is FOREVER...

I wonder how formidable Kruger would be up against a creature like Sleepwalker though...

Freddy is by all sense immortal but a character like Morpheus obviously could erase him. In this fight i think Sleepwalker would win.

How similar is Freddy Kruger to Nightmare from the Marvel universe? I no I could just wiki it but wike has been wrong alot lately.

I would imagine they are very, very similar. I'll do a little research and get back to you on this...I know ALL things Krueger, but my knowledge on Nightmare could use a little input....but from what I do know of him, his powers and Krueger's seem to be a lot alike.
