Batman Vs Mephisto

Batman wants to destroy the evil one, he obviously gets prep to do it. Can he succeed in any of the following cases?

a) One year of prep.
b) Ten years of prep.
c) His natural lifetime of prep.

I think one year would do it. Not saying he would win, but he doesn't need 10 years, or even his lifetime to prepare for a fight. That just seems too long to come up with a sound plan.

So eliminate b and c. That leaves a.

Planning is not everything about prep, he needs to gather resources and information. A plan can be created in two days and take three decades to succeed.

Considering how adept Batman is at gathering intelligence I doubt it would take him that long.

Well T'Challa beat Mephisto and he's basically one of Marvel's Batmen so yea Bruce could do it.
Doubt he'd want to considering all the chance for repercussions later but Bruce could do it!

It took Dr. Doom much more than a year as well as Dr. Strange's help to even win a victory over a non-jobbing Mephisto.

Mephisto will not be destroyed by Batman with even a lifetime of prep

Since the dawn of time people have tried to take out Mephisto, and so far it has all been for naught. Batman won't change that.

1) Loses
2) Cleverly tricks and techs his way to victory
3) Dies the moment the match begins . . .

This is a joke...Batman would never beat Mephisto unless he had the IG or something similar and could use it effectively. Geeze give the Red Guy some respect, he cant help he has been written like crap on many occasions.

batman would convince thanos to let him use the infinity gauntlet or just batkick him till he gave him one then destroy mephstos dimension leaving him powerless and vunerable to a bat-roundhouse kick.batman
