I still haven't tried to play D&D yet.

My friend gave me a character sheet, and I named my character Boogie Legs, but that was as far as I got. I got way too confused and forgot all about that.

I agree... even thought the rumors are that Gygax was little more than a **** who shoplifted the majority of the original D&D system from an earlier (and commercially failed) game named Chain-Mail. I still feel a minutia of loss for the guy who marketed the game I so loved.

i played this game with my uncles a few times...i was a paladin i think....it was fun..
