Does anyone remember the name of this crazy cartoon show. It had these mutant cars. It was a strange cartoon. But I can't remember the name. sorry i don't remember more. hopefully someone can help.

If the cars transformed into robots, then you're talking about Transformers: Robots in Disguise.

I remember a cartoon that had robots, very Japanese like but English, it had a boy, and robots joined together similiar to Power Rangers.

They also had a base.

It wasnt Transformers, but something else.

If that's the case, I have no idea.

It was a long time ago though, so I'm not to sure.

The Challenge of the Gobots?, it was a low rent transformers but i loved it more.

80s, clearly.

90s had f*ck all, except the few awesome Marvel adaptations. Namely Spider-Man, The X-Men and The Incredible Hulk.

Ush may be right. Sounds like Wheeled Warriors or it could be Voltron. As someone said Transformers perhaps. I wish I had more to go on, but for now I 'll post this and think about it more.

It sounds like Voltron to me because they each had kind of lion-shaped cars that could come together to form the giant robot Voltron. I loved that! "And I'll form... THE HEAD!" But I've never seen Wheeled Warriors.

If it was Voltron then the cars version sounds more like it than the Lions version. I prefer the Lions version myself.
