Is plagiarism grounds for BAN?

I'm just curious because i have caught someone whom consistently plagiarizes.

nah ; i dont think its bannable. however you did write it as if you want the member banned.

If it's a story I think it should be.

nah, doesnt bother me, too much. I wont even say who. It just raised a question. I suppose i could have just searched the rules section huh, oh well im stupid.

The only person I have ever plagiarized is myself, when I didn't feel like typing something new.

They need to give reference, those bastards.

I plagiarized a poem, once. I got a great grade on it. I felt bad about it...🙁 I was in the eight grade.

Also, I think it makes one look more well versed to cite sources for many of their points. (Even if paraphrasing.) If provides a layer of validity to all of their points and it makes them look like astute scholars, imo. Of course, you have to have your own original thoughts, but sprinkling in plenty of backed up points really helps.

i would say it depends on if it a story or a roleplay idea

if story it should be bannable cause it isnt fair to the original author

if roleplay only if the original thread has died and you wantto revive it

Yeah...that's true. I forgot about things that were not academic...which is usually what I associate plagiarism with.

yeah acedemic papers are the most plagiarized
