Wouldn't that in turn make the events of DotNG non-canon as well? [seeing as Infinity Man is still alive]?

This probably takes place before DOTNG 07, or maybe IM is still alive? I don't recall seeing his body after the Source Wall was destroyed.

It was.

Gog was talking about the method in which IM kills the New Gods, [ie. incinerating their hearts]... Apparently, it's the only way to kill them.

Ok let me be more clear. He is powerful and I dont disgaree with this statement I just thought he was more powerful before he was chased off.

If someone would have told me this Gog would be able to run him off I would have said nope not going to happen.

Even though his feats aren't quite on par yet, this is still the same Gog from "The Kingdom" -- his origin was merely retconned into being a 'herald', so to speak, for the true Gog, [one of the old Gods]...

IM putting up a good fight, then leaving the battle after a few pages certainly isn't a low showing, considering the powerhouse Gog is.

Never said it was a low showing. I would have thought the Im here wouldnt back down in this situation but he did. The true Gog must be very scary if his herald is this much of a badass.
