Anyone remember this guy from years back? Who would win if they battled?

Can't the Surfer do pretty much everything the Weird can?

Not sure, i mean he was able to not only match Superman and other powerhouses but he seemed more powerful. I wonder if any others remember him, and how powerful he was. When I read his mini seires I was under the impression that he might be above Surfer, but I could be convinced otherwise.

from the wiki, The Weird sounds woefully weak. I'd imagine Magneto could wipe the floor with him, nevermind The Surfer.

anyway, on-topic, Surfer 10/10 no problem.

His most recent appearence i know was in the captain comet limited series....from that...i would say surfer for the win.

I am not familiar with him other than that series,except for the normal i know him from somewhere thing

Surfer probably takes the majority, based on sheer number of feats...

But The Weird shouldn't be underestimated -- he physically smacked up Supes pretty good:

Something else worth mentioning,
before Weird assumed a 'physical' form, he pretty much toyed with the collective efforts of Superman, Guy, Dr. Fate, Captain Atom, and J'onn.

Just said that this certainly wouldn't be a pushover for Surfer.

Wow! I threw the Weird into a bunch of threads in the past, but I never got much of a response.

He basically just tossed the JLA around like lil' kids, until they relized he wasn't a bad guy.

This would be an incredible fight. Too bad we haven't seen the upper limits of W's powers.
