Hey dont you find similarities between the characters of Gandalf and Aslan the lion from The Chronicles of Narnia?

Aslan is similar to alot of characters. Quite common for Inkling literature and there heirs.

Not to mention the fact that they're both Messianic-archetypes - the one (Aslan) being a more overt allegory.
