Just started messing around making sigs and just thought I'd post a few of them on here, and hopefully get some tips and/or constructive criticism from some of you veteran sig makers

remember I have just started so they suck but hopefully they will get better soon with some help from you guys

The are a bit plain just now but that is only because I am not too good with photoshop, so once I get used to it I will hopefully be making them a bit more exciting.

Nice, for the Vegeta one with the 3 squares I would suggest saving as a gif or png since they pick up transparency.

You have the right ideas going, I see a lot of potential in them. Remember not to stick to one size; larger is not necesarily better. But I like a lot of them, you're very good for a 'beginner'. Keep up the good work. awesome

Thanks Fox, it means a lot coming from you , hopefully once I get used to photoshop a bit more and figure out how to blend and such I will get better

Yeah man , that is good advice, btw I love your new sig, Patrick Bateman is delightfully insane

Your sigs are a bit too simple, looking at your current Vegeta sig, all I see is text, motion-blurred Vegeta as a background and a rendered Vegeta. Download some tutorials and you might learn something some new things, you've got potential.

I'm thinking about start making tutorials myself, if I will, I'll send some your way.

I am using CS3, yeah I know the smudge tool, blur tool, burn tool and such but never know when to use them

I use photoshop, and I use the word "use"loosely, I am balls at photoshop, those sigs are very basic. once I get more experience they will be a bit more fancy , there are other programs you can use, I just don't really know any

Hey in my opinion, simple is better...all the fancy burns and faded images....its too much...to me it is just your taste and yours alone.....i see the blur and burns on some sigs and people go WOW....but really the image is almost unrecognizable and to me its just to hide the flaws....its only my opinion and its not to put down anybodies work....its my taste...and if its yours too...don't change, just get more experienced in the paint program like someone already said...i think your stuff is great even for a beginner

You will need the english translations for the name first.

Yoshi means reason

Mitsukai means Angel

Type Reason and Angel into the translater and you have Yoshi Mitsukai.

I messed around with a few settings to get him that way,


that image was already pretty digital and looked almost as if it was painted anyways,

I just changed some of the lighting to push it a bit
