very good book, just read it for my first time only about two months ago. I like Mace a lot but he isn't even one of my fav. characters and I still loved the book.

Awesome books. They make Luke seem kinda weak in them though...

I've yet to read Shatterpoint. The Thrawn trilogy as a whole is #1. And I found Dark Lord and the ROTS Novelization pretty good as well.

The one without any words in it. Just pictures.

Dark Rendezvous, bitches. The Thrawn Trilogy is amazing and is the patriarch of the Expanded Universe, but suffers from intense minimalism.

skywalker833
I don't understand what was so good about dark rendezvous.

Rampant ox
Count Dooku. no expression

Best reply here.

I wouldn't say the Thrawn Trilogy was minimalist in pretty much any sense Gideon, but you're right. Good books. For Star Wars.

??????????????
The Darth Bane Duology owns the shit out of the Thrawn Trilogy.

Want a cuff fight about that?

chik4lit
Dark Rendezvousu has awesome Yoda-ness!

You can't win, Darth. If you strike him down he'll come back as a more retarded sock then you can ever imagine.

Witty use of Star Wars quotes: love it.

Minimalist in terms of technology, numbers, and such. The Empire, at that point, would hardly be desperate for ships, as Zahn depicts.

exanda kane
Okay, well...that's a weird expression to use no doubt, but I also have no doubt that you paid alot more attention to the logistics whereas I can hardly remember anything at all. Kudos to ya.

Going against the intensely anti-NJO and thereafter grain, but....

Dark Nest II: The Unseen Queen
or...
New Jedi Order: Destiny's Way

I don't agree that it kicks the Thrawn trilogy's a$$, but I also dont agree that it is weak. I actually liked it a lot. Maybe my 4th fav.

dont read star wars novels. Favorite Star Wars comic book=Star Wars tales, because it has pretty much everything in it.

Jbill311
The Revenge of the Sith novelization was pretty impressive.

agreed. Also, just a random comment but lotf was horrible. I'm just reading it to find out what happens to everyone.
