scroll down till it says daredevil 2!

yesterday it said daredevil, born again!
it said MSJ might direct!

this cant happen! how can they let mark steven johnsen direct anything ever again?

anyone who says he is a good director should just **** off and die!

it is a crime if fox makes this movie!

Honestly, no one should make this movie now... Marvel should let it wait a while so the sting from the Afleck movie goes away. Then have John Faverau do the movie!!!! Faverau should do all of Marvel's Movies!!

BruceSkywalker
If this happens, then I'd look for a totally brand new cast. Affleck has stated numerous times that he will not do another Daredevil film.

marvel needs to redo this film. personally id like to see hayden christansen play dd he pulled a great darth vader in episode 3

So MSJ has interest in returning to tackle the Born Again storyline. "Interest" deosn't equal having a contract & a start date.
I have interest in kneecapping MSJ should I ever meet him, but without a binding contract I cannot be prosecuted. stick out tongue

It would smell really bad for Marvel to EVER hire MSJ again, after all the negative reviews for Daredevil & Ghost Rider (and only good-to-OK box office.) Avi Arad, a supporter of MSJ, is no longer at Marvel.

In a perfect world, I'd hire someone like David Fincher or Francis Lawrence to tackle Daredevil.

Daredevil had its problems, but the Directing was not one of them. Personally, i fell that the script and casting were the most detrimental aspects of the movie. The Directing seemed as though it was handled fairly well. With enough time in lapse i would mind seeing Daredevil get another shot.

Sign on tim burton to do the dare devil vs punisher movie reboot. (not a real movie just a cool idea)

FistOfThe North
loved Daredevil 1. And Affleck did a good Matt. I'm looking forward to this flick. And bring back Affleck too.

Now that marvel is making its own movies they need to take a chance and put out an R rated film.

An R rated x-men may not be necessary, but it would certainly kick some major ass. Tony Scott directing Wolverine or tarentino on x-men thumb up

I dont think an R rating would do much for mainstream characters. Personally, id be highly interested in seeing how a mature and violent direction would look on a spiderman movie. I think an R rating would most likely end up hurting the movies and not just because of the impracticality of narrowing the audience. R rated violence is usually quite violent and these comic flicks rely on a fine mixture of humor and action. Mature humor and violent action, i dont think would translate well into an x-men or ironman movie. It does, however, work in graphic novels. Certain characters like the punisher warrant an R rating though, i could even see Thor working as an R rated movie, because the Thor character doesnt need to be approached in a whimsical manner to make it work. I would like to see an R rated batman movie one day.

I'm hoping the upcoming punisher movie is good since they're aiming for a R rating.

Blade was R rated (18)

ragesRemorse
yeah, and i dont think the punisher or Blade would have worked if they hadn't gotten the nod for an R rating.

those characters revolve around killing and not defending laughing out loud

Yeah, they are a pair of ruthless demons, smokin'

I still enjoyed them to an extent.

I think Daredevil needs to wait awhile before it is remade. Marvel is coming out with a lot of movies with character a little more interesting and popular. If another Daredevil moive is made however, then I would like to see more "the man with no fear" side of Daredevil, I didn't see that so much in the movie.
I did like the Afleck movie, but the script and story was weak. I thought Bullseye was the best thing of the movie.

I keep mentioning this name...but I think Justin Hartley would make a perfect Matt Murdock

I also think he would make a good (Young Cap)

he played Green Arrow in Smallville and done an amazing job IMO.

They're doing fine with Iron Man. Why does Marvel feel the need to continue to make movies for previous characters? Didn't they learn their lessons from The Punisher.

I don't see a reason for this movie. Then again...who knows...

I think it was years ago Avi Arad said they wanted to 'start over' with Daredevil. They're waiting for the screen rights to revert back to them, so they can make it with greater control under their new banner of Marvel Studios. Perhaps when the time comes, the film will be like the upcoming Hulk; half-sequel & half-reboot.

oh hell yeah, The Thomas Jane Punisher was aces. That move was brutal. It showed his little kid get run over buy a big fukin truck...,in slow motion none the less. I was even able to tolerate the overwhelming shit of john travolta. I thought movie rocked.

I was much younger when i saw blade, like 13 and shit. At the time, i was astounded..,big ass mother fuking wesley snipes making vampires heads blow up, oh yeah, i was in heaven. I can still watch Blade today. It obviously doesn't have any where near the same impact it once did, but its still fun. That movie also, quite possibly saved Marvel. It deserves nods for that. Marvel was down and they said, ok we're going to make a R rated vampire movie where a big, pissed off black guy runs around making shit dead. That, to me seems like a ballsy gamble for a company that was bankrupt. It worked, people liked the full on gore, sarcastic humor and dry dialogue. I know my mind is stil blown from trying to figure out how it worked and why marvel isn't looking to do more R rated flicks.

He starred as Aquaman on the (2006) cancelled CW show "Aqua-Man". He did good too. The pilot was really good.

Blade was a lower risk gamble in a way, because he was virtually unknown. They didn't have legions of fans to please, so they could do what they liked. That it was a success paved the way for X-Men & the eventual Marvel movie machine, going strong since 2000.
