the spectre vs lucifer

who holds ultimate power? 馃槚hifty:

Lucifer beats The Spectre.

Lucifer.

lucifer

If God wants Lucifer dead, Spectre is the hatchet man he'd send.

In a comic where they met, Lucifer told him to get out of the way since he was blocking his sun, and he meekly obeyed

Spectre being courteous, doesn't equate to Lucifer having superior power, imo.

Spectre got his ass kicked by Michael. Lucifer > Michael

Fixed. 馃檪

They were both seriously beat up and weakened at the time, Fenris didn't give him any extra power, just inhabited his body

Except Michael had broken wings while Lucifer's wings weren't broken, which, if you read the series (or the battle for that matter), is their greatest source of power.

Plus Michael was trying to get Lucifer to snap out of the mindrape, not fight him, so your claim that Lucifer is greater than Michael is incongruous.

Well fine then, but how come Lucifer and Michael are generally treated as equals?

Becuz one is the power, and the other is the will. Both needed to create creation. And lucifer can also defy God's wishes.

Well... Michael, Lucifer, and Gabriel were Yahweh's first 3 creations and they each had their own respective roles in shaping the universe. While Michael is more powerful and was originally intended to be Yahweh's successor for the universe, Lucifer has his wits and fulfilled the plan by being rebellious. Yahweh even states the slightest doubt he had in his plan was which one he would choose as his successor. The power that each character possesses doesn't necessarily equate to level of treatment they receive.

No, I mean in their dealings with each other, it was never implied Michael was more powerful and could just push Lucifer around like he did to the Spectre

Michael's name implies it (Demiurgos- second only to God). Hell Lucifer, who's extremely cocky and arrogant, offers Michael a partnership in ruling his creation, almost explicitly recognizing him as an equal. Also when an angry Michael vows he'll destroy anything because there is nothing he loves enough to spare, Lucifer doesn't say something witty implying he is more powerful like he always does, he simply receives the statement.

Demiurgos means creator, doesn't it? In greek....

Wrong quote.
