I've found that certain incarnations of Mr. Sinister and Deathstroke can look particularly menacing. Magneto's been able to pull off that look on a number of occasions, mostly in the early 90's. Nod to N'astirith (sp?) as well.

I had a nightmare were Sabretooth was trying to kill me and some younger x-students once.

When my Ex saw a picture of Pitt she screamed, which took me off guard, because I thought the artwork was amazing. I have to say Pitt is very menacing looking.
