What Super Hero in Marvel could give Superman a decent fight without either.

1. Beating the hell out of him with ease.

.................OR................................................

2. Getting the hell beaten out of them with ease.

This is just a list of guys that I chose, but feel free to add any that you think would be a good match for him.


1. Silver Surfer

2. Thanos

3. Sentry

4. Gladiator

5. Hyperion

6. Wonderman

7. King Hulk

8. King Thor

9. Nova (Richard Ryder)

10. Count Nefaria

Setting aside fanboyism
How many of these guys could last for at least 1 hour against Superman?

Whats king Hulk?


And are we looking for a 5/10 split almost with Supes

well, since gladiator is marvel's version of pre-crisis superman(the imperial guard is the legion of superheroes) he is the most equal.

Yes I meant who would pretty much be able to keep up with Superman if they fought. I guess you could put it in terms of a 5/10 split.

Gladiator would be closest IMO.

Nova, Wonderman, Sentry, and WWHulk would all get stomped by Superman.

King Thor and Thanos are beyond Superman.

Wonderman, Nova, and Hyperion are the only ones I can see not being able to take at least 5 against Superman and Hyperion is questionable.
