I was doing some searching about the World war 3 in which black adam goes apesht.. does he ever fight superman in that comic (or has he in the past?) and what happened?

He didn't fight Superman in WW3, it took place in the year where Superman was depowered after Infinite Crisis

I think they have fought before but I don't remember the outcomes

should happen though , would be a great read if BA is written well and not like a punching bag ...

The fight is in the respect black adam thread-or at least a fight

Before the last Crisis they fought. Superman was about to hit him with a punch that 'Would split the moon in half' but Black Adam turned his back before contact was made, in full knowledge that Superman wouldn't hit someone in the back. IMO i think this gives Superman the victory as Black Adam had no real answer to such power.

From what I saw of the fight it was very close, Black Adam is capable of hurting Superman if this was the question. Adam was also pushing him back in the early stages of the fight, but Superman seemed a little more resilient to damage.

If it went down to the line I'm pretty sure Superman would have won, but he would have been torn up in the process. Like Ankur said earlier there really wasn't a clear victor though.

It was basically a stalemate, Supes was rageing like a lunatic but was still holding back, meanwhile black adam wasnt really interested in fighting and wasnt going all out either.


I prefer the black adam supes match up since black adam is more ruthless, makes for a better fight then captian marvel vs supes, hope to see more soon.

WW3 BA would be bad fighting Superman...hope it does happen one day.

I remember that fight. Black adam saw that punch coming. He could have easily stepped aside. He actually had time to turn his back on supes knowing supes would have stopped. Black adam is not stupid and going to sit there and take a punch like that.


In all fairness this fight goes either way. Supes is a bit tougher but he better be willing to kill adam. If hes willing to kill him BA is toast.

Black Adam did not even want to hurt Superman.......he just wanted to leave........Superman was angry while Adam just wanted to get away.......

No real answer? Black Adam would dominate Superman swiftly if was actually trying to win..........52 and World War 3 etc.........

They were both taking eachother's blows, neither really was winning.

They were about even.

Supes was clearly suffering from roid rage during that bout.

Really? Cause it looked to me like Superman was kind of throwin' what he had and Black Adam was like, "No, seriously, stop. That tickles."

Well, maybe not to that extreme...

but either way, Adam wasn't really phased by anything Supes was throwing at him.

And I'm just going to say it...

You'd have to be a fanboy to think Superman won that fight, OR that it was a stalemate.

actually, since that fight wasn't conclusive AT ALL it would take a fanboy to assume anything either way.

The only thing certain is that once Supes really got pissed (when BA tossed the woman off him) that's when Adam forfeited the fight.

I'm sure at some point they will have a complete battle.

You'd have to be a hater to think that Superman lost that fight, OR that it wasn't a stalemate.

Supes was pissed from the start of that fight he even said it himself and BA didn't even want to fight. IMO BA seemed like he would have won if it would have continued because anyone that knows BA clearly knows that he would have dodged or blocked that punch Supes was about to throw.

No way BA would've blocked that punch. Dodge maybe, but not block.

BA could have blocked that punch you dont have to be of superior strength to block a punch. This was a excellent fight Id still give the edge to BA in this fight, hes tougher then captian marvel and mean as hell only time hed have problems with supes if he was sundipped. Supes raged severl times and BA didnt seem to phased by the blows.

minus the last blow which would have sent him flying, This fight could have went either way. But i like the fact there was no real victor in it.

As of now BA vs supes they are dead even as far as dealing with each other. still i think Ba took supes hits much better then supes took his.


I hope to see anothe fight like this in the future.

During that whole fight, only one of them screamed out in pain.
