Who do you think is the Naruto character who's death was most wasteful. Or on the other hand who's death was just perfect.

I think Haku's death was wasteful he could have become a much more interesting anti-hero on my opinion.

Most wasteful....Itachi's it would seem if Sasuke's going to do the opposite of what his brother wants.

Itachi yep. Orichimaru to. He was a way better villain then all the other ones we've seen.

Yea I agree both Oro deaths were pretty much wasteful for somebody of his caliber and for being such a main villain. Well if you want to call the Sasuke thing a death since it may as well of been. He at least deserved to go out in style but shippuden really hasn't had any battles like the first part had that would let him go out like that. Instead he gets taken out by both Uchiha like he's nothing.

orochimaru has tons of bodies he could have used instead.

Well it's not like he could just sneak twenty guys in (Well maybe he could actually). He needed people strong enough to get in Konoha legitmately(Through the exams) as well as be sacrafices.

Right now, Jiraiya, because no one knows he's dead <_<

Bah Kishi probably skipped over that and Jiraiya's funeral is already over and everybody is done grieving. Somewhere along the way Pein probably already caught Naruto, and extracted Kyuubi and everything else that was left undone is done off-panel all while Sasuke was blacked out or being talked to by Madara.

Hmm Gaara's death was wasteful also. Mostly because he came back.

There could still be hope in a flashback type way as Suigetsu is beaten and wonders how he can loose after beating Kisame...or he lost because of his fight with Kisame weakened him or something....Okay that's stretching it but dangit I wanna see that fight. Though with the way Shippuden seems to be in the fighting it's probably best that fight wasn't seen. The fights haven't really been that great compared to the first half. I hope the next Sasuke/Naruto fight lives up to the first fight between them. I wonder how many more people are going to die before it's all over though. I've got a feeling Tsunade is going to die in a similiar way to Sarutobi since she's the last of the Sanin, and there was talk of Kakashi being the next Hokage. I just hope if she does die it's a good death and not wasteful.

At this rate I hope Sasuke slits his teams wrists and his own and then Kishimoto shows a vid of him blowing his brains out. End of show.

My God, Sasuke's going to end up beating Naruto isn't he?

I'd prefer Sasuke being killed by Shikamaru.......but that won't happen so I'll settle for just Sasuke being killed by anybody. Madara and Karin also....Suigetsu dying wouldn't be that bad either just because he took Zabuza's sword even though I do like Suigetsu. Juugo's the only one in Team Hawk that I want survivng but his whole kill everybody thing he has probably will make him die...Or Naruto can change him like he does everybody else.

It's happened once Kandy.....It must not happen again. Naruto has to win their next real fight...He's the main character he can't loose to some emo twice. Though yea Naruto's going to loose...why wouldn't he? Kyuubi is probably going to be unusable in a fight that Madara is involved in anyway.

Right after he one shots Tsunade, shatters Kakashi's testicles, rejects Sakura before popping her breast implants, and throwing Gamabunta to the moon.

I'd take Jiraiya, and Tsunade talking about it right before he dies and naming Kakashi the next Hokage more than I would fanart that has Naruto as the Hokage or cosplayers making a Naruto Hokage suit. Don't watch the anime but they also show lots of stuff in the credits that you'll never see just like the covers of the manga show things that you'd not see in the manga. Besides Jiraiya and Tsunade also said Naruto would be Hokage just not the next one and that would go to Kakashi. Why would Tsunade suddenly change her mind? It's because of Naruto being so immature that they said he didn't have what it takes to be the next Hokage. Unless Kakashi dies I really don't see Naruto being the next Hokage.

Yea I said I think she might die....but why would Naruto take her place when Kakashi lives and thats who she and Jiraiya both agreed would be her successor? Obviously the Hokage's can choose who they want to replace them since Sarutobi did it with the Minato. And I highly doubt the elders would choose Naruto to succeed her if she doesn't tell anybody else Kakashi will be the next Hokage.

Thank God. I stand by my view that within a year of having Naruto lead it, Konoha would be in ruins.

I didn't say they would. I was just saying that Kakashi is the only person that's got a shot at being Hokage that is actually qualified to be Hokage more than I think Naruto is. The few others I think that would be better than Naruto haven't got a chance.

Why Kurunei? She isn't particuarily strong, nor has she shown outstanding leadership skills, which Naruto has.

Well if ever Tsunade should die. And I would choose the next hokage out of those I'd say Shikamaru.

As far as I could see his the only one who took out an Akatsuki all by himself and an immortal one for that matter.

Also helped in defeating another one until the Kill-Stealer Naruto came with his jobber aura.

Shikamaru is like the Goddam Batman in Narutoverse.

That's his problem..Shika just needs to start kicking people. Forget the shadow binding jutsu. That's why he's only won half his fights.

Asuma's death erks me the most. After all those losers that dodged death against the Sound Four even with supposedly "suicidal" techniques... Asuma goes down like a chump in his first real fight. I think he was too manly to live and was killed off because of his wicked beard.


Anyway... Naruto wouldn't know diplomacy if it hit him up the side of the head and he is unwilling to compromise... I think he'd make a horrible leader.


Realistically, the chances of Naruto becoming Hokage should be relatively small. I mean... isn't the entire (the adults at least) Leaf supposed to be scared shit-less of the Kyuubi? It was an pretty important part of manga when it started. It was the entire reason Naruto was drawn to Sasuke - because they were both alone. The entire village ignored him... how many of those people will say "Oh well... it's cool, our bad!" and swallow Naruto as Hokage? But it's a children's story, so none of that will matter and he'll become the Hokage anyway. Personally I hope the manga ends with Naruto's heroic death, while the entire village stands back and watches his epic battle then - after having saved everyone and defeated who ever the final villain is - the Leaf carves his face onto Hokage mountain.

The village has come to accept him now it seems at least aren't afraid of him. Nobody has really shunned him since the Chunnin exams. Though it's not really a vote from the village who becomes Hokage but the elders probably would never allow it..but they're old, and Sasuke wants to kill them. Itachi's death definitely, but I must also say that Kimimaro's death still bugs me to this day too..I seen a lot of potential in that guy and for them to just make him die so quickly ugh -_-...I really took a liking to him then BAM he up and died. A real bummer >_<...

Now that I have think about I think Kimimaro and Haku are photocopies of each other. I think Kishi Killed of Haku so he can create Kimimaro.

They pretty much the have same background. Last of their clan with their Bloodline Limit, Had a traumatic childhood, found the wrong person to be their mentor. Died to save a person who will also later die. Pretty much the same to me.

I think Zabuza's more of the kinda guy who cares but wants everybody to think he's evil and heartless. I think Haku saw that. It's why he devoted himself to him. You know besides the whole saving him from the streets and giving him a purpose. Orochimaru gets bored so he decides to destroy something not caring what happens. It's why I don't like him though it does make for the perfect villain.

Well the Mist village may not really be known but everybody shown from it has been a villain so far. Zabuza may have been evil but he wasn't the heartless kind of guy as obviously he regretted stuff, and showed he cared for Haku. He even kills the guy who hired him along with a bunch of others in one of the coolest scenes making up for some of the stuff he was trying to do in the Arc. It was probably Haku that changed him that little bit from the Demon he was before. Not to say he wasn't still bad just the kinda of villain that actually cares for someone but doesn't want to admit or show it. Even if it was only Haku and nobody else. Zabuza trying to take over the Mist is better than what most of the other villains are trying. Madara, Sasuke, Orochimaru all they want to do is destroy Konoha for no good reason at all. Pein...he's just a bit crazy and wants to destroy everything.

Back on topic I would say Orochimaru since his death was so stupid and will prevent him from ever being a credible villain if he ever comes back.

That's why his death was so stupid... because he WAS the best villain and died with no fanfare or relevance to the plot.

Yea I know..I said his death was stupid. But that doesn't mean that he wouldn't be a credible villain if he came back. As long as he's not around a Uchiha he'll do fine and actually dodge and kill things.

I know but look at his track record. First he tries to take over Sasuke's body and fails. Then he lets himself get hit by a sword that entrances him. He's been acting like such a fool lately it's hard for me to take him seriously.

And his craptacular backstory.

Like I said as long as a Uchiha isn't around he's fine. Everybody looses to a Uchiha no matter how smart or powerful they are. He did just fine against Naruto. He was even smart enough to actually block something powerful in that little bout, and realize when he needed to leave because his body was not responding properly. He even went for a kill but was stopped by the chakra armor.

They pretty much the have same background. Last of their clan with their Bloodline Limit, Had a traumatic childhood, found the wrong person to be their mentor. Died to save a person who will also later die. Pretty much the same to me.

I think another reason kimmimaro is dead is because he probably would have ended up killing or badly injuring sasuke for killing oro

asumas death was not needed In a way it was. Shikamaru wouldn't be giving advice to Naruto if he hadn't. Asuma died for Shikamaru to realize it was time to grow up.
