First details on the new Bond game....

I know Goldeneye was a great FPS, but I dont think Bond games should be shooters. How many shooting scenes where in Casino Royale? Two? Everything or Nothing was a much better "Bond" game. Im not thrilled that Treyarch is behind this either, but hopefully it turns out.

i thought everything or nothing was a lot of fun.

yeah, thats a pretty good point. As good as goldeneye was, bond games should definetely be 3rd person. How else would they remake the construction site chase? Not to mention most of the action scenes in casino royale were fist fights, not shooting.

Yeah im very disappointed Activision went this route, just basically dressing up a Call of Duty game. I guess they figure it will sell out the ass just because its 007. I wish they could have given the game to another developer to really put time in and do the game right, because they are making this and COD5 at the same time.

Im still iffy, but this first gameplay footage makes me interested....

One note, which will probably change in teh final game, Bond's face never changes.

Nice, been lookign at GameSpot's and IGN's Hands on stuff, but never seen actual gameplay. Imo, this might be a Bond agme actualy worth keeping an eye on, everything since GoldenEye has been pretty bad.

Scene in the ventilation system looked strangely familar....

I like the destructibility.

people getting excited about the game, footage shown shows promise, the game looks good by the time it's released:

No driving missions = lame

You complain about no driving missions?
That's a first, driving missions in FPS games are usualy one of the most hated features around.

The ones in Everything Or Nothing were good.

Not saying they are all bad, just the majority.

I'm anxious to see if all the hype about it being better than Goldeneye is warranted.

Who is saying it's supposed to be better than Goldeneye?

After recently playing the bourne game, i'm looking forward to seeing how this Bond game compares to that. I think the Bourne game had a lot of potential but it lacked the type of variety in gameplay and action that the Bond games usually offer.

Noty heard anyone saying it will be ebtter then GoldenEye, but I've heard things like "Best bond game since GoldenEye!" etc
