Technically, baiting is trolling. It's trying to get a rise out of someone. It's usually more subtle though.

How are baiting and trolling not the same thing? They're both doing things for the sole purpose of getting a reaction. Just baiting tends to be more subtle than trolling and thus gets lesser reactions, but when it comes down to it they're still doing something just to get a rise out of people.
