A recent discussion gave me this idea. It might be fun.

Using ABC logic (Spider-Man has beaten Hulk, Hulk beat Sentry, therefore Spider-Man > Sentry) take someone no higher than low meta, and make them "better" than someone no lower than mid-herald. You can start as low as you want and end as high as you want.

Bonus challenge: If you can get "High Street or lower > High Herald or higher" in 3 moves (so 4 characters total), you win!

Bonus challenge #2: Low Street > Skyfather+ ...it'll have to be a long chain, but may be possible.

Stipulations:
- Characters only. Non-standard equipment or plot devices don't count (Batman w/Kryptonite, Reed w/nullifier, Spider-Man beating Sasquatch with a wrecking ball, for example).

I'd go first, but I wanted to use SM v. FL, but I don't have a clue if FL has beaten any top herald people. The earlier Hulk/Sentry one works nicely though.

I was referring to their second fight when BP drained Norrin's Power Cosmic first.

The second challenge involves a low street character to high herald+. No one's tried it yet (Smurph ).

And the deer (possibly low street) only went to Mid herald (Lobo). . So that's not quite there either. Santa doesn't really have a set tier. And karnak's high meta, so that's not even close.

Although we can tweak it. Deer > Wolverine > Lobo > The Doctor. Therefore...

That doesn't logically hold. If someone's only = Galactus, and you work up Wolverine to Sentry, then the best you could say is "Logan = Galactus." Saying Hulk is stronger than Sentry also isn't saying he beat him. That fight was pretty much a stalemate, and in their first encounter, Sentry punked him hard.

I agree completely. Still, I thought that the purpose of this thread was to stretch logic a little bit, and see, using the A>B>C method, how big of a gap we could create in the power levels of two combatants, with the weaker one coming out on top. This is basically just a bunch of jokes, so I used a loose interpretation of events.

I know that Logan has never beaten World War Hulk, I know that World War Hulk is the only version of Hulk that is even arguably superior to Sentry, and I know that Sentry stalemating Galactus is hyperbole.

Still, using a loose interpretation of things (which is the only way to make a thread like this work anyway), Logan HAS come out on top of the Hulk before, Hulk DID seem to have the advantage vs Sentry, and then he grew STRONGER, and Sentry HAS been said to have tied with Galactus.

Therefore, loosely Galactus=Sentry, Sentry<Hulk, and Hulk<Wolverine. Perhaps it would have been more accurate to say Wolverine is greater than-and-or-equal to Galactus, but I didn't realize that we were being that careful.

Anyways, there's my defense of my entry. I hope you don't take me too seriously, cause although the length of my post might seem to give me the lie, I do realize this thread isn't meant to be anything but silly

Snake>Hulk>Sentry who is roughly= Galactus who has bin said to =Eternity, who has referred to LT as his peer.

Not exact ABC logic but we at least know that The snake is somwhere above Eternity.
