A topic to discuss Heath Ledger's Joker.

If anyone has already seen the movie, you'll know that Ledger's performance was pretty much iconic. In my opinion, he is the official Joker.

Many reviews have also described his performance as "nothing short of transcendent" and even deserving of an Oscar.

Anyway, discuss anything you want about Ledger's Joker here.

I'll start with my favourite scenes - One of them definately has to be the part where he was dressed as a nurse.

i heard he gave a powerfull performance and even critics said they couldnt believe it was not rated R. im going to a midnight showing tonight so ill definatley post my review.

You and your weird classification

Heath Ledger just took a shit all over all actors who have portrayed the Joker. He owned that role.

I cannot go back to the way the Joker once looked. From this day forward they have to make the Joker (in the comics, cartoons, everything!) look just like he did in the Dark Knight.

I saw the movie at midnight. AMAZING. Everything Heath did worked right. For me now, I think he has to be one of the best actors of all time!

well as far as I've heard, Heath totally reinvented the joker and made it his own.

Iwouldn't be surprised if they changed a lot of the comic art to look similar to Heath's Joker.

Initially, I was afraid that all of the hype regarding Ledger's performance was due to his death (something I attribute to Freddie Mercury's skyscraping popularity), but I ate my words. He owned that movie, 100%. One of the very best villains I've ever seen.
