In this thread, a person will list 2 horror movies, and you choose which of the two you prefer(or is the better), and possibly why. Pretty basic.

So I'll start off.

Diary of the Dead or Land of the Dead?

(so now, someone choose, and list two more for someone else)

Land of the Dead, not sure why , maybe id just had enough of zombies by the time diary came out.

Eraserhead or Cannibal Holocaust (two opposites, I know)

In the mouth of madness or The Thing (remake)

The Thing! The paranoia in that film makes it truly intense, and the effects are to die for.

The Fly (Remake) or From Dusk till Dawn.

Id have to go with From Dusk till Dawn. Even though The fly (remake) had some genuinely good acting and even better effects. From Dusk till Dawn did something i had never seen in movie's before. It mixed reservoir dog's with dracula and gave us a sometimes legitimate horror/crime movie and at others gave us a Bmovie gorefest.

Stir of echo's or The sixth sense.

The Descent or The Cave, ha ha. Whoever chooses you know what is ignored from now on

Silent Hill, because I thought it wasn't going to be that good and it surprised me.

Zodiac or Seven

Se7en. Much darker and it has one of the best endings around.
