Flash has acceleration advantage, Surfer has better topspeed.

how does Flash travel through space?

Flash has been shown running in space before, a planet doesnt really restrict him, and its shown he can breath in space due to the speed force acting as an aura shield to him to sustain him and as durability.

Runner is a joke compared to Flash. Nobody in marvel or DC (with the exception of Zoom&Bart) is as fast as Wally West.

What exactly makes Runner a joke? Making that statement doesn't disprove my decision of Runner (even though I was being sarcastic honey). Add to that I think the thread starter needs to be more specific and pick a Flash, I don't think it was stated Wally was racing.

well technically he still out ran black flash, by all technicality, black flash only caught up at the very end, and even then flash technically outraced it to the end of time where death no longer existed.

Unless you are talking about pre-crisis Superman. In that case, Sups wins hands down.

I wouldn't say equal, it took black flash of all time to actual make up the distance he was behind.

If anything it was Flash's endurance that was weakening
