Black Bolt and Inhumans vs. Vulcan and Shi-Ar

"Hopefully this will be a defining moment for the Inhumans as characters in the Marvel Universe."

"If it is Black Bolt, which we can neither confirm nor deny, he'll be very, very, very angry."

Pokaski discussed Black Bolt's role in "War of Kings," saying that "we're going to see a different side of the Inhumans," and that Black Bolt will be "pretty pissed off."

Pretty much confirmed that it's Black Bolt.

It's tying in to Secret Invasion: Inhumans

Black Bolt better kill him to death.

Disappear
nice how the cover's set up like a playing card. it'll clearly be black bolt and we're obviously all hoping he does, in fact, kill vulcan to death. "all" in the previous sentence clearly excluding the deluded and depraved followers of this "vulcan" character.

Also, for fans of Havok, Polaris and Marvel Girl

Leading up to War of Kings:

"For example, Marvel editor Nick Lowe said at Marvel's Secret Invasion panel that Chris Yost will be writing something with Vulcan that will lead up to the event and will include Havok, Polaris and Marvel Girl."

so is this some sort of another annihilation event then??

Galan007
this sounds pretty good.

Also, apparentlythe Guardians of the Galaxy and the Starjammers are involved. smile

Bentley
This points to be another good day for the cosmic Marvel Universe, good to get the Inhumans and the Shiar into the fold. We are just missing the Eternals now.

Superherovandal
Seems like Marvel trying to have their own cosmic event to compete with Blackest Night.

Superherovandal
Nah...theyre trying to have a blackest night kinda event

Arent Inhumans actually human descendents but they were experimented on by the Kree?

jalek moye
are the kree and nova corp fighting with the inhumans?

Utrigita
I can see no reason to why the Nova corp should be fighting... But I look forward to see Black Bolt (Hopefully) spreading Vulcan all over the pavement.

Cartesian Doubt
I thinks its mainly going be some kind of conflict between the Shiar and the Inhumans. Btw did the Annihilation alliance defeat' Ultron Phalanx in the end? If so, how ?

jalek moye
Well i saw Nova(richard) gamora, and ronan. All fighting in the image of a big battle with the inhumans and shiar

Cartesian Doubt
Maybe the Kree are helping the Inhumans then, they are basically cousins

I dont think they are physically related though.

I think it's the Shi'ar against the Kree, Inhumans, GOTG, and Nova Corps. But Blaastar is now the king of the Negative Zone so I'm not sure where he fits into all this. So far the Kingbreaker issue is fashioning Vulcan after Caesar. So there's that angle. But also my guess is a Vulcan and Blaastar alliance will be part of the storyline and possible Hitler/Stalin betrayal come about.

Priest
Nice.

The Roman get up is down to Vulcan's fascination with the Roman God of fire it's why he chose that codename.

Ah, haven't really read that much on Vulcan. Read parts of Deadly Genesis. However, I did read all of FOTSE (bad story) and Emperor Vulcan (good story).

But King Blaastar is still a wild card in this. I also hope Ravenous and crew would play some part in this war as well. It was fun to see the bugs and the Phalanx go at it during Conquest. And here's hoping the Space knights also partake in this too.

Bentley
Hey, has anyone seen GOTG 8? I haven't read it yet (haven't found it).

I did this morning. Incredible reading.

I just read it.

By the way: How the hell can Starlord know kree soldiers down that easily? I thought he had lost his implants

I like where WOK is going so far.

Because their canon fodders? Are the Kree soldiers that specially trained? Also, Starlord lead the Kree during both wars. He should know them well enough and more combat skilled considering the amount of fighting he's been in and the people he fights.

Bentley
Its just that the kree are naturally stronger than humans, unless the writer did wrong, they should stand their ground just fine.

So... all of the Inhuman stories that were good, were BB (v4, and Silent War), and then they made the Skrull impostor only relevant to WWH, and the recent Skrull invasion?

It seems that way in the WOK Saga.

About time BlackBolt shows some power, can't wait to read my issue later

manjaro
see thats why MU is kicking the shit outta DC right now...sure they line up one event after the other some are misses more than hits, but still they know how to keep ppl entertained...where as DC is letting hyped up writers run wild and taking thier own time and telling stories in ridiculously slow ways......30+ issues in and i still dont know where trinity is going.....ive all but given up on FC....and ive stopped caring about the round robin of deaths and ressurrections...im like meh
