Da Joker
I really liked him in all three Mummy movies but I think that he should start accepting roles in movies that are leaning more towards being serious with less comedy. He seems to be very talented, but I want to see him do more than be a funny man.

Well he is going to be in the new GI Joe movie, I'm sure we'll see some serious acting there. roll eyes (sarcastic)

for a start it's Brendan FRASER...and he's been in "crash" which is about as serious and non comedy a film as you can get

He's also been in "The Air I Breath", which I haven't seen...isn't comedy though.

Somehow makes me think that the thread starter wants Brendan Fraser to star in more serious roles that he then will watch by accident mistaking it for porn.

You really need to see more movies of a given actor before you pass these judgements.

The Quiet American (2002) is another example of him not being the "funny man", it's also a good movie.

celestialdemon
He was also good in Gods and Monsters, which was a serious role and was also the movie Sir Ian McKellen got ROBBED of Best Actor.

Toku King
Fraser an amazing actor, and has done both funny and serious roles.

chillmeistergen
It takes so little to gain the accolade of being an amazing actor on this forum.

Da Joker
Obviously I'm not the biggest Fraiser fan and I was going by what I had seen/ Lol, you people are such an unintelligent bunch.

Robtard
You blather out of ignorance, yet everyone else is unintelligent, right.

Then check out his movies that took place before your birthdate. He has done serious movies. A particularly good was one his role in Gods&Monsters. But it's kinda gay, so you might have to sick while watching it.

Sorry, didn't take previous posts into consideration. Yes, Mr. McKellen was robbed. He was ****ing awesome in that movie. Indeed, he was also excellent in Apt Pupil. He's my favorite actor. I've never seen a movie that wasn't made better by his participation.

You said you "want to see him do more than be a funny man.", yet you didn't make an effort to check out his acting in more serious films.

Da Joker
Yeah, I'm really going to find and watch all of his movies in less than 24 hours. roll eyes (sarcastic)

You just decided 24 hours ago that you think he is talented and that you think he should accept more serious roles (even though he does already)?

Da Joker
I never said he was all that, just that he was okay. I love how you like to put word's in people's mouth's.

Were your parents brother and sister?

Da Joker
My very talented meant he was okay, not great.

Was your mom also your sister and wife? Probably so.

I quoted you directly, yet you said I put words in your mouth? And you accuse us...of being unintelligent?

I take it you accepted that you were wrong, since you resorted to only insulting instead of countering my argument. Well, now there's not much left to do for you, except for trying to be less of a moron, going out and renting the movies we suggested and shut up until you know your shit.

You need to stop eating your own shit, bro, it's not healthy. Dude, stop being a baby, just cause people point out your blatant lack of reasoning. And you really need to watch Crash, it is quite good.

Da Joker
I'm not being a baby, I simply have bad memory, which has been pointed out a lot on many forums.

I've seen most of it, might watch it again when I get home.

You were being a baby. But yeah, do that.

Da Joker
If you say so. Happy Dance
