Which company THROUGHOUT the years has had better stories? More literary success? I'm including ALL the imprints Marvel has had and all the imprints DC has had. Vertigo, Wildstorm, Milestone, etc...

Vertigo is hard to beat.
Morrison's run on Animal and JLA are hard to beat.
Morisson on Batman.
frank Millers batman.
swamp thing.
lucifer.
sinestro corps war.
Watchmen.
So many good dc reads.

Marvel has infinity guantlet and saga. two of the best reads ever.
clairemont and byrne xmen
fabian n.'s run on xforce.
peter david's hulk.
the first squandron supreme book.
Silver Age Thor
Anything Spiderman as written by Stan lee.
most of the xmen in the 90's.
ron Lim's silver surfer books. the stories always had me captured.

I'd go with DC.
