Yes its very powerful, nobody really knows what it is but it seems to follow in line with Taoism and its responsible for creating the universe. The Source by some comics is God, it and YHWH "The Presence" seem to be one and the same or it is Gods infinite power. Lucifer went behind the Wall and stood on its shoulder and ignored it.

Lucifer disregards the source. He is more powerful than the source. It cannot be God. And The Old gods were far more powerful than the New gods. They were created when the source was still whole. They were each and everyone above what is considered a skyfather. Which is why the leaders of thier pantheons were so powerful and were able to split the source into two beings.
Ahh, thanks. Do you have a list of the leaders?

Isn't The Spectre more or less as powerful as the 2 Archangels?
Therefore The Spectre >> The Source?

He hardly ignored the Source. He just stood on its shoulder and they both watched the planet from the Sources vantage point.

Lucifer doesn't ignore the Source as if the Source is less than him. He just doesn't have a conversation with him, there's a difference.
They sit and observe Earth together. No conversation was required in that scene.
Even if he had actually ignored him, saying that equates to him being more powerful is just supposition. Thats just an interpretation of the scene and one that wasn't verified on panel by statement or demonstration. It could just as well have been arrogance. He is after all the son of God.
The Source is an aspect of God, just like Presence and the Voice are and so on.
On panel the Source has been considered God:
As you see here in Day Of Judgement #2 upon the gates of Heaven opening, talks of how the Sources presence can be felt and how it is welcoming them in.
