just curious? what is his power?

Ridley_Prime
He comes from Ancient Egypt. One of the first mutants born (if not the first), and his powers include molecular manipulation (primarily), energy and technology manipulation, teleportation, a potent healing factor, longevity, superhuman and psionic abilities, among other things.

Dark-Jaxx
Actually, his first power was immortality.

However he bonded with Celestial Technology, enhancing him in every way and giving him new powers.

Apocalypse's is also known as En Sabah Nur (The First One) suggesting that indeed he is the first mutant known to man, however this seems to be somewhat of an error as there are mutants that apparently predate him. At the very least, he was believed to be the first mutant at some point.

Apocalypse is actually an aged, frail man living inside a celestial-technology suit which improves his general way of life. In other words, you're not looking at him, you're looking at a blue suit and he's inside it.

Ah, that's right. It was his first power shown, now that I remember.

Actually, his original body was ageless, but after it got destroyed on the moon (from a combined assault of Cyclops, Phoenix, and Nathan if I recall correctly), he had to use host bodies afterward to transfer his essence to to continue living, but the host bodies became old because they couldn't handle his powers for very long (unlike his original body).

This is true in a way, but the aged, frail man you may see under the blue suit (like in The Twelve when Phoenix surprise attacks him right after he drains Cyclops' energy) is actually just a used-up host body for the most part.

Darth Jello
apparantly, for all of his hot air, apocalypse is scared to death of some debt he owes the celestials and wants to die.

Also, he was originally going to be the owl but was changed at the last minute in order to create a new villain for x-factor to fight instead of pilfering villains from daredevil and other comics (like deathstrike, silver sammurai, sabretooth, etc.)

KingD19
The first mutant is Selene, just wanted to say that.

kakuzu
Yeah Apoc isn't the first. He comes close but Namor out classes him and he's I think a hybrid mutant or something. Apoc comes from earth. If he didn't come from earth they he wouldn't be counted as a mutant.............

Not necessarily a hybrid. Just that he wears armor/tech made by extraterrestrial beings that increases his mutant powers beyond their original limits.

The rest of what you said sounds about right, though.
