No.
It took him years to gain the IG and THOTI.
It would take him the same amount of time to gain some sort of plot device to BFR Parallax.

the second time was the thanos quest, that didn't take "years", he acquired the re-christened (by him) infinity gems from the elders and the in-betweener. all six gems then created the ig.

So do you think Thanos can beat parallax with a week of prep?...

He BFR'd Hunger with less than that. I'd say SC Parallax would have zero chance against Hunger.

Still, with a week prep versus Parallax as Hal, he'd still lose. Horribly.

Give Thanos a week and somehow I think he would find a way to win a couple but still lose the majority.

No once again, what has Kyle as Parallax done that was impressive, this is the 3rd time I've asked.

I don't remember him doing anything in SC that shows him to be anywhere close to Hal and Parallax.

For what its worth, SC Parallax didn't impress me much, either. Most of the damage he did occurred from the viewpoint of being inside Kyle's mind, so the badassness was lost.

A shame, too, 'cause Sinestro Corps War was the best illustrated/coloured comic I think I've ever seen.

Well, when he just says Parallax in the first post and the most current one was Kyle, and people are saying any Parallax would beat Thanos, that is why I was so intent on finding out what Kyle as Parallax did.
