The other day I was getting the gas can out of our shed, I look up and see a Black Snake looking down at me. I shrugged it off until I looked on the other side and saw the second one.

I went back today to try to get some pictures to share. I was only able to get a picture of the bigger one, who is shedding. The smaller one wasn't there but I'm sure he/she will be back.

there's plenty of poisonous snakes in America other than Rattle snakes. One of the more common would be a coral snake. Blacksnakes are harmless though, I don't think I'd let it live like Roland though, last one I found I cut its head off with a shovel. Yay.

I did find a skin but I threw it away without thinking. I did measure it and it was 5 1/2 feet long. My dad said he saw the same skin a month ago. (It was on top of a storage container)

So it was 5 1/2 feet a month ago. I don't know the size now but if you look in the pictures, that ledge is probably 4 - 5 feet and it's back end is curled up.

Actually, they will probably not be leaving anytime soon.

The shed offers them a cool place in the summer, I don't know if it is warm enough for them to stay in during the winter. Also there is a nice food supply in the rabbits that live under and around it.
