Moon Landing is real, get over it.

Well for all of you out there that think the Moon Landing was faked, I guess you should watch Mythbusters latest episode which shows some of the best "reasons" that it was faked to be BUSTED.

Just because they did not have our technology then doesn't mean that they couldn't do it. Even today you could plot a course to the Moon and back even without a computer, all a computer does is do it faster. Most home computers are more powerful then what is on the Space Shuttle now, so what is the point?

Conspiracy theorists believe this so they feel better about themself.

That reminds me of my fundamentalist christian comparison.

jesus christ.

the pyramids of Giza were never built. It's all a lie. They do not exist. We did not have the technology to build the cranes needed to hoist these multiple ton blocks and position them into place. Hell, they didn't have any computer at all....comparible to a pocket calculator or not.

I heard that the moon in made of dildos.

Must be true, hasn't be disproven.

Gah!

The flag is NOT moving in the photographs any more than simple movement of it by the astronauts would cause! Why are people SO insistent of this obvious piece of stupidity??!

That maths thing is incredibly silly. All the maths needed to get to the Moon can be done by hand if you have the time. The lives lost were hardly due to bad maths!

good point.THIS one I havent really researched and looked into so i dont know much about this one but the thing that always made me doubt it was the point brought up on the flag moving.Cause in space theres no air so the flag should not be moving like it does in the photos.

the other thing is, I would like to know what mythbusters stance is on the official versions of 9/11 and the kennedy assassination if they defend the official versions,if they do,well that would say it all right there about their credibility. You really need to watch the show, they tested this. It is not air that is moving the flag but the guy setting it in place, without any air the flag moves and it inertia moves it even more without any air resistance to slow it down. If you want to know they tested this in a vacuum. Show me some video of the flag "waving" without anyone touching it.

So just because they do not believe your version of what happened with 9/11 and Kennedy it makes them full of BS laughing So how would they test the myth of either of them????Originally posted by Ushgarak

Exactly what I said, just because the computer then are not as advanced now doesn't mean a damn thing, before the computer can be programed to do the math it would have to be done by human hands first. The computer is only doing what a human programed it to do and if it took a slide rule to figure it how then that is how it has to be. Last time I check Albert Einstein didn't need a computer to figure out some of the most complex math know to man.

well if they have talked about those two events in the past and have defended the official fairy tale versions of them by the government, then there would be no reason for me to even bother with them since their past history would indicate that they are a tool for the govenment like PBS and other mainstream media outlets are so its something I would like to find out first before bothering with them what they have to say about those.if they have never touched those two topics before, then it would be something worth checking out.

Mr Parker
on that note,I just looked through all their past episodes they have ever covered and I see they never have covered either one of those topics so we have no idea what they say about that,so yeah I'll check it out.

Do not debate with Mr Parker. At first it's hysterical, but that will turn into utter annoyance and anger. Believe me, ask anyone else here.

I'm going to play Devil's Advocate here....

Mythbusters have been known to make mistakes in the past. See their revisited myths shows.

So the case isn't close.

Since they're skeptics themselves...I will remain skeptic of their tests.

There! Take that you sheep!

Yes....but I'm not much of a Mythbuster viewer as before. The seem to be running out of myths and creating their own myths. Great show...but they need a different direction.

Mythbusters....well hey if its on TV then yeah it must be true. Seriosuly though watever u know, 50/50 chance it was either real or not, if its real then fine watever...if it isnt then well i dont care.

He is just some one who thinks you can never be 100% right which is true. However you can certainly destroy a ridiculous conspiracy by controlled experiments and logic. Seriously if you are unsure as to wether they went to the moon or not just watch the Mythbusters episode, they destroy the main claims made. The majority of the moon hoax claims are so rediculous that I can't understand why any one would think they would go to all that trouble and just forget about all these details which all have a logical explanation if your willing to research.

The Great Galen
Ive done the research and seen the episode but I still maintain my postion, never hurts to be cautious. If it all turns out to true then fine, either way its always good to be open to any possibility.

the majority of the moon hoax proponents are hillbillies with no education, much less knowledge of specialized fields like physics.

I watched the Discovery documentary on the moon hoax crap a few years ago.....they did an interview with the guy who started all this hoax crap. He was a hillbilly living in a trailer-home in the south, Texas if memory serves. He had no education, had not even finished high school.

he kept saying things like, "look at that flag move after they let go, there's no air on the moon so it can't move!!!". Ofcourse, he never finished high school nor went to college to learn that the flag moves more precisely because there is no air creating drag to counter-act the momentum.

do these idiots think NASA was the only agency tracking the Apollo missions? Do they think the rest of the world just took our word for it, nobody else was watching?

I really think conspiracy theorists in general and outlandish conspiracy theorists specificly (like this topic) just need a hobby. They have too much time on their hands with nothing to do so their mind wanders into "what if?" mode. "what if aliens are controlling the world, all 120+ governments?"........."what if there are timetravellers among us who have journeyed back to guide human evolution?"........"what if the timetravellers and aliens are one in the same?".......

perhaps if they were busy model building, wood working, playing sports, watching fetish porn, etc. they wouldn't have all this free time to think of this crap.

Just the two experiments alone with the lighting and flag would be enough to debunk the whole conspiracy. These were not complex math or complex setups, they were plan and simple which leave little room for error.

Be that as it may, I dont hold a strong opinion for either argument since im open to either possibility.

Someone's watching too much "MythBusters" on Discovery or is it the Science channel. One of those.

My opinion, I'd say it's a 50/50 issue meaning that there's a 50% chance that they did land on the moon and a 50% chance that it was all a hoax.

i meant to say that there may've been a landing but i remain skeptical.

I still remain skeptical, to me it isnt as definitive as dropping a ball and it hitting the ground. It was a good episode, I enjoyed and by the looks of things so did everyone else...lets just leave it at that.
