Aragorn is more BA, but Eragon has offensive magic. All that the King has is a stone to see far away. He takes it because of the pure pwnage that is Aragorn as King of Gondor.

I liked Eragon I really did it was a good book, and I stopped reading Eldest halfway after I saw the movie. Honestly the movie was so bad it ruined the series. But in all seriousness Eragon has nothing on LOTR. And Aragorn would own Eragon in a fight, even with Saphira.

Actually, I thought that it was a terrific story, but a mediocre book. Paolini's age is painfully obvious at critical moments.
