Sun Eater has Solar System Shattering power. At the least. One was able to cost Parallax his life. I'm not sure how powerful Ego is. he seems to be around Solar System power. Maybe a bit less.

Then Ego's Durability is going to be a problem. The only thing is the Sun eater doesn't usually fight that way. it's more of an energy draining thing. Could Ego harm it before The Sun eater saps his power?

It isn't an entity. It's a weapon built by the Dominators I think. Or the controllers. Can't member. I know that even a small attack as it defended itself was able to send Superman bouncing thru time. I'm inclined to Go with Ego with a bfr.
