Visible light has several different wavelengts. Filter out beam of light through something... let's say semi-transparent forcefield or a diamond exoskeleton acting like prism- and your virus attack might as well not be there.

Also that version of virus doesn't attack immediately- in fact, infection process is pretty slow. Cable manages to carry out nice conversation with cult leader while the virus is infecting him.

That means what? Light transmitted strain is not as lethal as "physical" beta-version of Facade virus shown in your "melting" scan (order kidnapped Deadpool afterwards as they weren't interested in melting side-effect).
Different viruses. The one with melting effect doesn't effect optic nerves. The one that is transmitted via light has no melting effect and is slow. Slow enough for Ritual to say her spell rendering your tech a)worthless; b)making it attack your own team.

And then carry out her "anti-Spawn" plan.

I'm talking about Ritual cause she'll be the only our character possibly affecting by the virus- Queen of Diamonds has alien (Martian) physiology and is immune to viruses designed for humans\human based metas (mutants etc), Oraniac is a techoorganic being. In fact, there's not even solid proof that Ritual would be affected by virus as her entire body is covered by light-reflecting armour.

That providing drones even get us through the forcefield which is not completely transparent, the energy field is pink, meaning that it FILTERS OUT certain wavelengths of light spectre.

Making drones appear inside the forcefield via spots? Spots teleportation is slower than our, darling. Object has to enter a spot physically- spots don't let light through and you can't fire it from safe distance from the spot. Seeing the spot opening, we can just teleport to the safe distance.

In short- ineffective version of attack. The "light" version of the virus was slow due to having to "piggyback" lightwaves and there's no proof that that version carries the same melting sideeffect. Reverse engineer it in TEN MINUTES in a way that wasn't shown in comics (it was specifically stated that light-carried one and beta-version one, that caused melting havoc in Germany, are different versions of virus).

In summary- two of the members of my team won't notice that attack, third one won't get it through the skin contact (shapeshifting magical armour which reflects light) it would be weakened by forcefield, and catching it through the optic nerve is pretty slow process (Cable has a big talk before ever starting to do anything, and you didn't program your virus to negate magic somehow- reprogramming one version of virus into another one in 10 minutes is already straining that.

Now, let's reinforce something stated in my writeup- most notably the point about "Oraniac".

Oracle was programmed to become a perfect technoorganic host of Brainiac, after Brainiac 6 got his physical body destroyed in Outsiders\Teen Titans crossover.

Later she had to undergone special surgery to remove technoorganics from her body. The "soul memory" of Oracle has that information. As I've shown in writeup, Amanda has enough skill to recreate a body of technoorgainc being (Apoc-altered Archangel) based on his "soul memory" or transfigure human being into mermaid seamlessly in fraction of second.
When it comes to accessing soul memory of someone or something, only Doc Strange is better than Amanda Sefton in MU. She might not be the best sorceress overall, but that's her speciality.

Getting specific kind of soul memory with that level of skill is totally plausible, IMO. And that makes "Oraniac" transformation believiable. Brainiac programming won't be there, but then again, Indigo was functioning just fine with Brainiac personality suppressed, being amnesiac\reprogrammed.

There should be also noted that as long as Brainiac's programming in Brainiacised Oracle was supperesed, Brainy got PWNed via the same powers he granted to Barbara. That means Oraniac would be perfectly functioning and at level of Brainiac 8 (at level of her best showings for the short period of time, that's why I'll be using the feats- to show the powerlevel, as Brainiac 8 was only one of Brainiac's "children" with fully shown spectre of feats- not to claim feats for "characer that wasn't drafted- Oracle was planned to become a substitute for Brainiac\Brainiac8 after their physical bodies were destroyed).

Optic nerves can be blocked for short time as easily as any other nerve in the body (note than 2 of my characters are immune to your virus, having alien or cyborg bodies, and the third can be temporary blinded to save his life):

Just to clarify a point for those who are unfamiliar with Daytripper\Magik II... Daytripper's real name is Jimaine Szardos, but Amanda Sefton is her alias she used during her stay with X-Men and uses now as Queen of Limbo (as she has to hide her real name). In that scan she's listed under her real name.

Final bunch of nails into your plan's coffin





Let's deal with the 1st one. The "modifications" Cable talks about have nothing to do with reprogramming the virus- he barely alters the delivering tech telekinetically. Hardly a reprogramming. It's like the famous showing of Silver Surfer shooting an energy blast shown to claim he reprogrammed some super computer.

In fact, the very "reprogramming" was to make Lightmaster, the order's failsafe, to hit wrong panel and telekinetic tweaking with delievering mashine (even then, all he tweaked is a pigmentation).

Also the very same set of scans deals with another myth. Light-emitting tech, like TV screens and monitors, were merely proxies. The virus itself was to be distributed by either Lightmaster (a mutant member of the order) or big ass distributing station (the size of it is shown in one of the scans above. I'm afraid the drones won't do it in nneded capacity, since they're not acting as proxies, and as I've proven above, the so-called "reprogramming" has nothing to do with having a strain of the virus.

Not that is important, considering that 2 of my team members are immune to your precious virus to begin with, and melting was a side-effect of physical delievery (the dude physically injecting himself with the virus, the optical delivery was invented to get rid of that side-effect. Also even with melting perk the infection is fairly slow- slow enough to block out necessasy synapses and cast the spell (the virus was pre-programmed to block out specifically Cable's powers, but not for everyone's powers, especially such as alien-based, magic-based or technoorganic based):

Also said melting happened probably 5 minutes after the injection of the virus, maybe more- not immediately (and he lived for probably 5 minutes after that), and the virus attack can be detected\blocked immediately (see scans in my scan-only post #1 and post #2).

Also note that the scan with blocking out Cable's TK is irrelevant there. That particular strain was specially prepared to work with Cable's power signature, and has nothing to do with ANOTHER person blocking out your optic nerves temporary to slow the virus down long enough for a magic spell.

In the second case, TK was in play. He telekinetically altered girl's body (before ripping her clothes and weaponry into molecules)- and was strained horribly after that:

Apart from that, there's also one minor error with your plan:


Psimitar is the blade of psionic energy, the manifestation of Cable's powers. You're using powerless version of Cable, I'm afraid...no such luxury.

Summary
Your team has shown:

Slowass attack that can be halted and healed from pretty easily and utterly uneffective against 2\3 of my team (and third one has magical healing abilities, that can be used once the progression of virus is halted)? I think you're back to drawing board, guys.

My team has:

ability to teleport that is just as effective as yours (and renders your spot centers (BTW show me when Spot created more than two BIG spots simultaneously- since he either creates many small spots or one or two big ones, and cube formation is bound to have plenty of gaps in it, as it's a cube made out of spheres);

magic spells to mess with your technology (proof shown);

Soulsword that turns Spawn back into Al Simmons in the one hit (proof shown) ;

one of the most versatile characters in entire tourney (Queen of Diamonds\Emeralda);

Clarification:

The amalgamation rule is for individual amalgamations, not the sum of all characters being amalgamated. If you wished to combine 6+ individual characters into 1 composite being it would take 10 minutes for that amalgamation process.

If you amalgamated three sets of 2 characters (A+B, C+D, E+F; 6 characters total) or two sets of 3 characters (A+B+C, D+E+F, 6 characters), it would only cost 2 or 4 minutes of prep (respectively) for each pair/set of characters to combine.

If scans are what you need to see I always had them, down to every last little claim. But being off line, and accessing a public PC or work station, some what keeps me from posting them wouldn't you think?
