The reason for my abscence is simple... Obsession.. I've become absolutely obsessed with crafting custom marvel legends figures and I have no idea why. In any case it's become so time consuming that it drew me away from the boards here.
However the fact that you guys would probably appreciate these more than anyone else is also what brings me back here so without further delay...

Awesome job, man. I like the current DP one and Venom the best.

Most of us have hobbies that require a lot of time, effort, and skill. This is certainly one of them. Dorkier than most, sure, but no less fun because of it. I'm very impressed, and also happy that you can share them with us here where they can be appreciated. Kudos!

don't know if you did it on purpose, but you put tyrant last...and it was my favorite (1) because tyrant doesnt have an action figure that already exists , (2) tyrant is a badass, and (3) your rendition was spot on.

And yeah.... Tyrant was pretty damned tough... Actually, making the figure itself was pretty fun but the hard part was trying to get a solid character design down for him. I've never noticed until doing the figure, but his representation changes in practically every appearance he's ever made. From subtle things like his color areas swopping to whopping differences like having normal feet with 5 toes or clawed ones with two. Basically, I just made an Amalgam of all his representations and hoped for the best. I can see now why he doesn't have a figure though. The hair and the mouth cables in particular made him a tricky figure to make.

Awesome work on the Tyrant.

Nice comeback on the whole "nerd" thing too.

Maybe Bada can ammend that to the Vs. rules.

Example:

Me: Superman wins!

Me: Superman Wins *inserts pic of hawt girl I've dated*

well in the last several months I've been watching auctions as well... It looks like figures that are good quality/sculpt/painted sell within a range between $50 to $100 though I have seen several go past 200 as well as a Hulk and a Deadpool that topped out at 4 and 500 doller :I

Geez. Well I might shell out for the Doctor, but couldn't begin to afford the whole team at those costs. Must be nice to make some cash off of your hobby though.
