Both Characters with Limited showing.

Afro Magus was > Pre Death Thanos
and Vartox was comparable to Pre Crisis Superman with more versatility but very little feats.

Don't know if I'd even go that far. Their DBZ-like blast standoff was dead even. Afterwards Magus gets the best of Thanos. But of course Thanos had expended energy killing like 20,000 of Magus' guards with Warlock, so...he wasn't peak. It's pretty close, whichever way.


Magus wins via soul suck. Otherwise, Vartox probably wins.
