Neji uses the byakugan as a kekkai genkai, and uses probably the most powerful taijutsu, gentle fist. Neji is the most gifted of the hyuga and can use 8 trigrams, palm rotation and 8 trigrams 64 palms. Neji was able to school almost every opponent he fought. He is currently a jounin.

It would be a fight where no one would hit each other. Neji will just see Sasuke coming from anywhere, and Sasuke will see moves coming before they happen. Plus, do you really think Neji is just going to sit there and say hit me, no. If Sasuke tries to use chidori or any other move, neji would use rotation and if will cancel out. Plus, if Sasuke gets in range of Neji's eight trigrams, neji would use eight trigrams sixty-four palms, and end the fight because you can't escape his eight trigrams. Sasuke doesn't have any armor to stop it, and he doesn't use a bow and arrow to get into the blind spot of neji.

I am leaning though to Neji>Sasuke 6/10.

neji cant dodge kirin or amaterasu they happen in an instant and i dont think he can withstand tsukuyomi plus sasuke has more long range attacks then neji like the chidori and all of its manipulations

and FYI if you were reading the magna sasuke doesnt have the curse mark anymore

plus sasuke is all around faster than neji, we dont know if he can do giant rotation

you dont have to run with chidori, you can throw it turn it into spike, electricute the floor and many other things with it.

Rotation blocks ANYTHING AS SAID BY TENTEN. He sences attacks. He will look at the ground and be able to still see attacks coming.

Genjutsu uses Chakra. But it's not going to make a person with a charka circulatory system. Which the Byakugan should still see through the genjutsu. It makes you see things that aren't real. So the Byakugan should see the person using it though breaking out of it and stuff depending on what type of genjutsu is a different story.

Sasuke used it against Killer Bee unwillingly after seeing his "friends" hurt. And he unwillingly stopped it after Karin was hurt. The second time he stopped it on Killer Bee's clone was intentional. But casting it has never been intentional. And if somebody dodges it. He's pretty much screwed since it causes him a lot of pain.

im sure byaakugen cud possibly evade some low level genjutsu but hes not seeing through high level charingan genjutsu. other than that, neiji has nuthign going for him, hes a bigger emo than sasuke.

Beating Hinata isn't that big of a feat. And Sasuke is a lot more powerful than Kidomaru. And Tsukiyomi could possibly work on Neji. I still think he could see Sasuke but that doesn't mean it won't affect him since he can't stop it even knowing it's not real. Just like Kakashi knew it wasn't real yet was horribly affected. I don't think so, because he probably needs to be looking into the eyes of there opponent directly, but we don't know for a fact.

How is Neji going to run out of chakra, when he is best at closerange combat? Neji is going to be able to get close enough quickly and hit him in the stomach killing him. And if Sasuke gets away, Neji will know where he is, and dodge whatever is thrown at him.

What are you talking about? Neji's Byakugan is far more superior compared to Sasuke's sharingan when he fought Lee. Neji sences chakra, and right when sasuke uses his speed, Neji sences where sasuke is and blocks his attack. Throwing chidori won't do shit against neji. He will sence it and get out of the way. Big deal, Neji can still use rotation to hit him. Sasuke's sharingan see's moves before they happen, they do not have 360 degree vision like neji does. Because sasuke does not have 360 vision thats why it touched him and not neji. and it was way shadow clones against sasuke than neji. neji has 360 degree vision thats why they never touched plus it was only 2 at a time.

And unlike with Kidomaru, Neji won't have anything to send chakra through to hit Sasuke. We've already seen Neji's weakness is long range fighters. Which Sasuke can be close up or long range.

As I said alreadt, Neji won't be just sitting there waiting to get hit. Sasuke can only use it so many times before he can't use MS anymore. Neji will just do what Kakashi did to avoid Itachi's MS, look at the ground, except more effective because of Byakugan.

Well Kidomaru was a harder fight than Sasuke would be because he doesn't have anything that can go his blind spot. Sasuke, I think is still superior.

Even in a taijutsu battle Sasuke would win, Sasuke is much faster, and can predict all of Neji's movements.

He doesn't need to blitz Neji, he will just keep countering him until Neji is defeated. After Orochimaru's training Sasuke is extremely fast, even when he was a genin he was about as fast as Lee without weights, Sasuke after Orochimaru training is most likely far faster then Lee without weights.

True, but it takes a lot of stamina to keep at the speed Sasuke is at. He will not be able to keep zooming around the area, and act like he isn't tired. That is the only reason Kidomaro hit Neji, the bow and arrow. Without it, he would have beaten Kidomaru quicker than he did. And if Kidomaru couldn't stay out of range against Neji, and Deidara couldn't really even stay out of range against Sasuke, what makes you think that Sasuke will be able to stay out of Neji's range for the entire fight?

Moving faster than Sakura and Naruto can see means very little. Neither of them are exactly speedsters unless Naruto is demon-foxed.

but can the rotation block the amaterasu.....no!!!! and his abilities r not better then sasukes and wen neji was blocking the spiders that was only 1 time he just use 128 trigrams he didn't just keep useing 8 trigrams....!!!

watch the show the range is the # like 64 palms will at most like 20-30ft so read magna dummy neji doesn't have longe range attacks and saske does.

Rotation doesn't take up much chakra, and he would use it to stop all of Sasuke's attacks. We don't even know how many times he could use it. Neji could use it 30 times, but we don't know. And he could use 64 palms 15 times, but we don't know that either.

Do you know how long 30 ft is? He just needs to not get directly into his face, but close enough to use it and have sasuke in range.

His spiders are a ninjutsu. He could have also rotationed the spiders away.

Where does it say exactly how many times he can use rotation. The way I remember it, he used rotaion 3 times on Naruto and had alot of chakra left. And he doesn't even need to use rotation to stop attacks. As when Kidomaru was using his spiders to attack, Neji was just standing there, moving his upperbody and dodging all of his spiders.

Byakugan will find him wherever he is. When he running toward Sasuke, if Sasuke tries to use an attack while Neji is running towards him, he will dodge it. He won't be able to stay away forever, as Neji will adventually try to hit Sasuke, and Sasuke will use his speed to get away, Neji will keep doing that until he runs out of stamina and can't run anymore. He gets in range to use 8 trigrams 64 palms and uses it to defeat Sasuke. As I said, Sasuke doesn't have a bow and arrow to hit Neji. The only thing close enough to hit Neji is Amaterasu, and yet he will see the chakra coming and get out of the way.
