Placidity
Which of these guys would survive the following events:

Spider-man
Wolverine
Batman
William (Underworld)
Yoda
Magneto
Predator
Green Goblin
Blade

Gauntlet

1. Assassination attempt From Mr 47 - one day prep.

2. Getting shot in the torso from a 9mm at point blank range.

3. Surviving in an alien infested hive for 15 mins. Could possibly remain undetected if one utilizes god-like stealth.

4. Surviving a fight with the Hulk and King Kong (they find out they are actually brothers) in a sealed unbreakable dome (70m radius) for 15 mins.

5. Receiving a full power blast from Cyclops.

6. Surviving in a lake infested with aliens for 5 minutes at night time. Chances of getting attacked despite being stealthy is likely.

7. A ground zero anti-personnel mine explosion.

8. Having a 6 tonne block of steel dropped onto the hero. The block is immediately removed afterward.

9. Receive a medium strength blast of heat vision from Superman.

10. Receive a full power punch from Hancock.

- The heroes are allowed to use any abilities to help them get through. For example, Magneto is actually allowed to stop the bullet from hitting him in the second round. Yoda is allowed to slow or stop (if he can) the descent of the steel block in round 8 etc etc...

- But be sensible of course. For example, no one is allowed to dodge the punch in round 10.

- Everyone gets standard gear etc.

- Everyone is completely healed (if they survive) after every round.

How far does each person make it ?

Placidity
What me thinks

Spider-man - 9
Wolverine - 10
Batman - 4
William (Underworld) - 9
Yoda - 6 or 7
Magneto - 3
Predator - 6
Green Goblin - 6
Blade - 4 or 6

Wolverine can survive all of them. He'll just reheal from it all... being vaporized completely isn't enough to stop his regenerative abilities.

Placidity
Well if he is vaporized "completely" then there won't be anything to regenerate from.

NonSensi-Klown
He won't be. As long as he has his skeleton he will always regenerate, and there is nothing in this gauntlet that can destoy his skeleton.

Placidity
^ True that. That's why I listed he would make it all the way through.

But you should remember this is Movie Wolverine, no where near as good as the comic one.

Also, how does he regenerate from his skeleton. If he can regenerate tissue from inside his bone to outside, surely that means there are some holes in his adamantium coating?

NonSensi-Klown
I don't know how he regenerates from just a skeleton.

(That's his skull in the corner by the way)

Now, movie Logan doesn't have that feat, but movie Logan's regenerative abilities has never been overwhelmed or defeated, so to put a cap on it would be nonsensical.

NonSensi-Klown
Here's a bigger picture of him:

.. he heals from that in like five minutes. no expression

I dont think anyone can successfully complete that gauntlet. The only one that has a chance is God (wolverine) but after Hancock or Kong Tears his head off. I don't know how well his body would be at regenerating a new skull

NonSensi-Klown
They can't tear his head off because his skull is made of adamantium and is connected to his spine with adamatium. Neither Hancock nor Hulk can break Adamantium. Comic book Hulk, who is far stronger than movie Hulk, tried to rip Logan in half but he only suceeded in ripping all of tissue and muscles and flesh off. It's like use your fingers or teeth to tear off the chick/skin part of a chicken wing... the bones still there.

Placidity
^ Yes but someone like (Surprise) Superman Prime could.

Yeah, SMP's a douche though and he ruins every thread he's in with his nonsensical feats and childish demenaour. DJ would not approve of my shenanigans.

poppycock

If this were the comics we were discussing id agree but i think hancock could do it. I'm not saying that yes it is fact, just that i think he could.

Placidity
^ I know, but just if I said someone like Thor, then there potentially could be objections.

Plus, it was a good opportunity to mention Superman.

Darth Martin
Hancock kills them.

Placidity
I think Wolvy will survive his punch. His face might be a pulp, and it might take a while to heal, but his skeleton will be intact, and that's enough for him to survive.

NonSensi-Klown
Yep. There's no reason to even assume that Logan's skeleton is even half as durable as his comic version anyway; we haven't seen anything in the movies beat it.
