Darkseid has sent Kalibak to test Asgards reserve and power. Odin Thor and Beta Ray are away and can't help can these guys stop the son of Darkseid? No Dragonfang

"Current" Kalibak loses for sure. He's now a tiger/human hybrid that was killed by Tawny - I know Tawny was amped to 10 times his normal strength but "classic" Kalibak would have mangled him with no problems.

Classic Kalibak probably takes the slight majority. He had some close hard battles with Orion and held his ground against some of the JLA's finest and has smashed some respectable top tiers on occasion.

I liked Kalibak's new look (suits him) and he was his typical savage self. The end was a bit too predictable though.

It worked, just needed a bit of touching up.

By Classic, do you mean pre-boost? Because prior to FC, Darkseid gave Kalibak a power boost that let him mangle Orion in H2H. And gave him his own Psy-beams, a Omega Beam knockoff.

He looked much more deadly in his classical look. It was just Morriosn screwing with the new gods. The man shouldn't be trusted.

That was just for that story alone as Orion handed him his ass in death of the new gods.
